If we win 10-0 and Brazil win with maksimum 2 goals, then we Will qualify as first

Actually looking at Wikipedia its more likely we play 1A (Morocco) than 1B (Spain) if we finish third

If we finish second we play Ecuador

How on earth did this pos team beat Brazil?!! 🤯
            its New Caledonia ffs
Terrible terrible terrible, no wonder our senior team is pathetic if this is where it all starts 🤦🏻‍♂️
In the beginning, there was nothing. And God said: "Let there be light!" And there was still nothing, but you could see it.

Tbh that goal margin is not gonna happen. Let's just go for the win and.

Or Brazil and England tie, we will be 2th the group.

Are our boys even aware of that they need to score goals? Why are our athletes in general so inconsistent? This doesn't apply only on this team but in general. TM, Volleyball NT, Basketball etc..

One game, they beat Brazil, play like world champions and next game, they play like a C-Team. And as I predicted earlier in this thread before this match, if we are lucky we can score maximum 5 goals. Once again, I hope I'm wrong.

Man our 2017 strike force was pretty good with Hosseinzadeh and Sayyadmanesh

Shame that the best player from that world cup still hasn't won an international cap though - Delfi

Looks like Hosseinzadeh will be the highest achiever from that crop even though at the time he was considered not as promising as the other two

Calm down man. Brazil was up 3-0 on Caledonia at the half.

                    plenty of time.

ultimately what matters is finding their rhythm and playing their best. Who cares who they play next round.

Just when there is a glimmer of hope, you have a gutless coach like Hossein Abdi not playing an offensive lineup ... even against New Caledonia where we need to win by at least 10 goals ...

This team is going to get destroyed by Spain. And then the reality is, you will not hear from 95% of these players after this tournament. 1 or 2 might make it, but most likely in the PGPL.

Esmail Gholizadeh has been terrible. Get him off.

It's always the same story which boils down to sports psychology for Iranian National teams in football and how group stage matches are approached

Although the under 17 has performed the best of any age group for the last three consecutive world cups

Nokhodi jan, of course it matters who they play next round. That's exactly the game changer. We would rather play a shitty 3th place team than Spain who are one of the favourites unless we are happy to just qualify and then out after next round.

Clearly possession football is not something Abdi has worked with the kids.

And do we have to celebrate after every goal? Geez, come on. Get the ball back to the halfway line and go on and play.
