Let's see what this generation can do.
Our last U-17 wonderlcass that did well turned out to have very bad luck with injuries and bad agents.

Someone needs to warn these players to avoid teams like Charleroi/Santa Clara who buy them then bench them for a year only for them to return to PGPL the next year or go to Qatar/UAE.

Focus needs to be on less physical leagues at their age and focus on conditioning/development.

Like Rostami and Dostali in Pogon who are developing very nicely and starting to get decent minutes slowly in European games.

What makes you say that? Is it the general failure of Iranian youth at those clubs?

Yes and the current atmosphere around Iran (sanctions, politics, and football results) doesn't help either

imo the one league I don't mind some of our youth going to is Saudi league, its just all Europeans players and coaches now anyways, and it looks like they will keep spending up till 2034 at least for the world cup when they host it.

My biggest preferences are Greece/Polish league where they treat younger players more intelligently

If tm can walk away with 4 pt it be an amazing accomplishment.

4 best 3rd place teams advance.
let's say lose to Brazil and England
                    By narrow margins
Then drop 6 goals on new McDonalds
with 3pt with gd of +3 might have chance.
                    This is worst group possible

At this age level, the gap is less than what we think because they still rely on talent more than tactical knowledge and execution. In two years time, the Brazilian and English players will start to perfect their technique and learn tactical awareness and work on their physicality in controlled tested environments while our players will be given zero plan and have to rely on their own talent to pipeline into PGL or Team Melli.

Thats why despite Iran's league improving over the years you still see amateurish things from time to time(can't cross, cant take a corner, cant trap, or shooting a ball into the last row) the discipline takes shape after 17 for many

Here is Iran list, surprising lot of players are free agent

Can't wait so this BS of putting first name on the shirt stop. IFF seems broken or lazy to keep on this BS.

It seems the free agent are actually u19 players of ipl club but don't have a senior contract yet
