At this age the traditional senior level dynamics don’t apply as much. However Brazil is the defending world and South American champs at this level. A draw would be an excellent result.

Iran is in a very tough group. The 2 best teams are probably the two best in the world.

Man no wonder Brazil is reigning champions, the amount of football IQ some of these players have is more developed than our U23, and they're 6 years younger. Smooth passing, intelligent defending, good positioning, etc.

Compared to that all we do is header the ball and do long crosses that find no one. We also don't mark well during defense when there are corners and in PK area. Very tough to see.

On the plus side that goalkeeper kid of ours is very talented, he's stopped it from being 5-0.

I'm not too hopeful about us leaving this group at all unless we get a cheeky win against England and decimate New Caledonia

This Brazil team is excellent. They move and play like a senior team. Minimal mistakes.
