I hope Abdi stays as coach of U17 for many years to come. His player selection, intelligence, and coaching skills with the team are great. All of these players are gems from KIA, Foolad, and Sepahan youth academies. Abdi's experience with coaching in Europe is showing, and having someone like him at the helm of U17 world cups every 2 years will prove to be beneficial as a youth pipeline for us. Federation will probably fuck it up though .
Also I'm glad U17 tournaments are back, its been gone almost since 2018. Having these tournaments for our youth is great exposure when it comes to marketing them to good foreign clubs. Especially as our domestic league has gotten way better in last 10 years
