Iran will 100% play Morocco. All combinasion with Iran and Japan (who are 3rd best guaranteed) see Iran playing Morocco. QF could be against Mali, Mexico or Venezuala (or even Germany if they choke their last group game)

This was disappointing since Brazil did end up beating England by 1 goal. This type of stuff only happens to iran. Iran beats literally Brazil, beats a country by 5 goals, loses narrowly by 1 goal to England, and still……ends up third place. Not even second. No excuses though they should’ve scored more against new caledonia

Honestly the 3rd place is better than the 2nd. The opponent in R16 and even QF look even or slighlty better for the 3rd. Also an extra rest day (which seem to be a big problem for us).

I agree about this game against NCL, but we beat Brazil and NARROWLY lost to England 2-1, this is a huge achivement to beat the reigning champs and go toe to toe whit a full premier-league academy youths , if we compare the "emkanat" that this two giants have and the "emkanat " our football has, wich is almost zero this is amazing.

We all love our Iran and TM from u17 to Senior but in the end of the day we have to realise that we as a nation are a Ferrari and the driver is blind, deaf and incompetente and nothing will stable in any departement if the nation itself dosent make a full renessance.

We will play winner of Mali-Germany in the quarterfinal if we make it that far(unless Venezuela beats Germany last game in which it would be Mali vs Venezuela).

Potentially our road to the final(unlikely I know) is playing Morocco, Mali, and then rematch with England/or game vs France.
