He’s a Uyghur player- from Xinjiang and born in Yining where alot of its people are from Kazakh and Kyrgyz ancestry similar to Azmoun .




Xinjiang has around a third of its people Turkik / central Asian ancestry hence why they have Muslim names . They also had another one called Mirahmetjan Muzepper




Again they are born and raised in China but the area they are in is probably one of the poorest. There’s pretty big economic disparity between Han Chinese and Uyghurs - the latter speak their own dialect and not all Uyghurs can speak Chinese
