Good thing CONMEBOL/CONCACAF exists lol. I don't mind a friendly vs Mexico or say Peru. We have approx. 10-12 friendly slots from June 2025 - Summer 2026

June are still qualifiers.

Sept 2025 - might get some friendlies here against the other Asian qualifed teams (2/2)
Oct 2025 - Might get some friendlies here again against the other Asian qualified teams and CONMEBOL (2/2)
November 2025 - Might get some friendlies here again against the other Asian qualified teams and CONMEBOL and CAF (2/2)
March 2026 - I checked the Nations League schedule and March 2026 is playoffs for UEFA. So again window will only be open to AFC. CONCACAF still have qualifiers too! (2/2)
May 2026 - open friendly slots for all (1/1)

Total possible friendlies: 11.
Maybe one in camp friendly during the World Cup, so let's say 12 friendly windows.

But we have one sure chance to play European teams, and a few more with CAF and CONMEBOL.
As I've said before UEFA and FIFA are trying to kill international football.

Now we need someone in IFF to read this and get started on negotiations.

Bahrain tying Australia and Indonesia beating Saudi - yes smaller teams are getting better but qualifying in Asia is broken as is.
Long travel hours, extreme differences in climate, players coming in from other locations, ...

I am all for it being competitive, but these issues almost always are an advantage to the "weaker" team.

Uae will use any trick in the books not to travel to Iran. If they do mashad will not be available due to being eid and Haram is full.
Then nisf e jahan is other option.azadi I'd ready only will have 50% capacity but it won't.

I don't feel good about hosting in Tabriz. On the club level Tractor lost multiple games to UAE clubs.
