Pathetic to blow that lead. The first 40 mins was really beautiful footy….Uzbeks are indeed a dangerous team but there is no justification for blowing a 2-0 lead. you’re right….idc that he is playing at a higher level league than other midfielders (beside saman) he is indeed a slow poke as you mentioned. It’s always been an issue with him and when he plays against good teams it stands out. It even stood out like a sore thumb when he was playing against Al ahly at the club WC a few years back. Torabi,Mehrdad Mohammadi, Ali Karimi and some others were nearly chanceless against Uzbeks, i really mean chanceless in any point.
And the sadest thing is when you have absolutely nobody on your bench, today the u17 played morocco and morocco brought in players from the bench playing for ajax, juve, psg ........we really have nobody on bench.

first 40 mins was best TM in play since Wales match.
After saman sub we went to shit. He needed to sub saman for hosseinNejad and and HosseinNejad only. That would have kept the dynamics in midfield as they are very similar profiles. Instead he chose "experienced" option Karimi...too slow to pair with saeid clearly vs a decent team. He could replace saeid as the 6 if we want to alternate or sub saeid. Thats it.
And for the love of god...no more shoja! OR Milad! These two dumb and dumber cost us first goal. Shojas insistence on long balls when his long balls suck is another major lol. Who told him to do that? And Mehrdad mohammadi is another one trick pony. The guy couldnt hold one ball to save his life.
Torabi was a major threat when saman was on the pitch and the attack was clicking, he should keep his spot in xi. Mohebbi gave us a good outlet in terms of speed, losing him also damaged any counter chances.Comment
