Coaching staff also failed big time by not having the right answer to Katanec's second half tactics.We were very lucky not to lose this game as if it had gone on for another few min or so we would have conceded the 3rd for sure.

The starting 11 are greater , but GN has created a situation that we have zero bench players , and the few young energetic, talented players we have in the bench he wound not play at all today or any day …

Well I said that was the turning point not the entire reason. Saman got injured as players usually do but we bring in Karimi in his place who is absolutely one of the slowest most useless players. Remember the England and the US game ??

GN was obviously out coached as is no surprise. But I was expecting a bit more from Maricone to keep the team's composure in the second half.

Also add to it all the other subs that made the team completely defensive and we got what we got.

It's a shame, had we kept our form we could have won by 4 or 5 goals today instead of narrowly escaping defeat.

The game in Bahrain we dominated. Along with the next 2 games

Ghoddos is so valuable to this team it's unbelievable. We have no dynamic creativity in the midfield without him. This team relies on him Azmoun and Mehdi to be in good form to get anywhere in the AC.

What's terrifying is the last goal we conceded. The marking was so poor it reminded me of the goal we conceded to the US.

Cheshmi is just too slow against the likes of a Korea or Japan. And Kanaani and Shoja were very underwhelming today. PAG-Hosseini duo was optimal but now we seriously have a CB problem with someone like Kanaani who has a mental breakdown after the slightest inconvenience
