Man it doesn’t matter if we’re facing Uzbekistan or anyone else, losing a 2-0 lead is so so annoying. Whether it was then improving or us losing our control, losing a 2-0 lead is a bummer. If the score ended 2-0, it would’ve been our biggest win over Uzbekistan away from home. Something that general could’ve showed off

Why doesn’t he give eckert a shot as a substitute for striker. If general hates young players, exkert isnf even tbat young. He’s 26. Better to give him a shot for 10-15 min than Karim or Asadi

More than anything else, the Iranian players need psychological help. Once Uzbeks took control, TM players seemed to turn it off and wait for the game to end. Mental resilience should be a selection criterion for TM.
well its not rocket science. TM has 3 players. One of them (the glue in the midfield) got injured so the number of balls reaching the other 2 (the #10 and the #9) were expected to drop off considerably. As a result Katanec told his team fuck it press these guys higher, push up in numbers with the ball, etc and be aggressive.

When GN replaced ghoddos with Karimi he handed uzbeks their dinner on a silver platter. Removed all dynamicism in our midfield and doomed us.

Ali Karimi is not team Melly material at all he’s slow he’s out of the loop he doesn’t really care he’ll just take the invitation and come in and whatever but he’s not a player who is anymore needed for the national team he’s done

if this game wasn’t clear as day to anybody who still needed some convincing he changed a 2-0 winning game to almost a 3-2 losing game …

I thought the drubbing against England proved it already to everybody how slow how sucky how not Ready he is for the high speed high international high press game that’s not his ability he’s a slow turtle, but I guess not. I guess this game finally shows that he’s dead he’s not nowhere near that ability to play on the national team.

Full credit to Katanec and Uzbekistan but thats the minimum any team does in preparation.

What was our teams plan prior to the game when studying them? Just assume they'll field a random XI of Turkmen looking players? Did we even know which of their players were good?
lol did you see how not only our players lost it psychologically, but also the staff? Ando had a full on breakdown the last 15 minutes, he kept screaming near GN then finally gave up on the team and left to sit down at the benches . What did we expect was gonna happen when tm staff is filled with people like ando and khepel. They would rather sit around and hit a few hits of ghelyoon and have some shole zard before making a game plan for Uzbekistan

This game is on Ghalenoi. I've never seen a manager struggle to adjust this much!!!

He is a joke of a manager for not trusting any youngsters. Ghoddos getting injured made team melli same level as Bahrain today... And instead of bringing on Hosseinnejad this guy subs in Ali Karimi!!! Unbelievable

              Few other things:
-Ali Karimi was absolutely atrocious today. I want to blame the lineup and the fact that him and Ezatolahi are just too slow to play together but I just cant get myself to defend him getting call ups. He's awful.
-Shoja is a liability with horrible distribution and lacks speed. One of Hazbavi or Majid Hosseini should be tried at CB.
-We have a left back problem. Milad is terrible positioning wise and cannot play out from the back.

We need to try new players for team melli soon. Guys like Dennis Eckert and even guys like Ghorbani for Sepahan, Saharkhizan, Yousefi need to be tried out

Our ageing squad sucks and is only getting worse by the day! Wake up!!!!!!

General will not try out any young players for Asian cup that’s for sure. But maybe against Turkmenistan and Hong Kong in March he will try inviting and PLAYING some new fsces

This is what happens when we decide to play defensive football. We already had this BS for 10 years under that good for nothing CQ. Hope GN learns his lesson.
Hiding behind cq and using cq name unless it makes u feel better, it's not a defense for general
                  way of playing defense......
There is something call transation defense and tm looked horrifying scary.s.k has more speed than uzbakitan...if our transation d is like today , korea will beat us 4-1 maybe even worse....by bashing cq
the d won't be fix UNLESS ITMAKES U FEEL GOOD then it's OK u do that ,I like to see u happy.

Why are u guys calling chalemaydooni general? Is it because he lacks general common sense. Or he lacks general etiquette? Or general knowledge? Or general decency? Or he has no balls in general? Or supporters of chalehmaydooni dare peeti lack common sense in general? What I can’t stand most about this guy is he always blames others and makes excuses. You screwed this game up admit it. All his moves were wrong. Defending whole game rarely works.

The discipline was also atrocious as a resut of the lack of speed in the midfield, if everytime South Korea/Japan is going to overlap our midfield ends up in our midfielders taking the player out, we are going to pile up yellow cards that turn into reds.

General is from south nazi Abad tehroon...he is known to grow up being street thug, his been called chalemeydoni all his life, when he was eventually was called rayees mafia in his standards he had finally made it......

His team was great today in first half but couldn't keep 2-0 lead just like jordan match if that pk went in it would of been 2-2...
This team has hugh problems in defense...
It was exposed last time played Uzbekistan, and jordan, and today defense went into cardiac arrest.
Next will play palestine, hongk, and uae and r16
will win all 4 matches maybe clean sheet, BAH BAH O CHAH CHAH WILL START THAT GENERAL FIX THE D, then we play s.k in qf and NOTHING has been FIXED ..need CHANGES IN defense against s.k...no change they might revenge their 6-2 defeat in ac96 against us........

                        Solution for s.k
need a new lb neither mohamadi or hs can sustain s.k speed or pressure....SALMANI,JALAli of ss and ali nemati of pp need to be tested between now to ac. And I'd vahid amiri is healthyHE SHOULD START AT LB AGAINST S.K with torabi in front of him

                        AGAINST KOREA
mohrami or shoja need to start at rb AND RAMIn
                        In front of them....

                        Cb
KANANI and shoja BENCH AGAINST S.K
                        Daneshgar and majidi should start.

This is the team that is going to Asian Cup ...only injuries could cause a substantial change. No point in pointing out obvious deficiencies and replacement possibilities.

Iranian mentality is that this group has earned their spot and they will play no matter who else is better.

These boys will play their last tournament and then most will leave between now and WC26.

Some are due or will be due to leave...some hangers on like Saeed won't be too old but will be brushed aside by a new coach.

On the current evidence we won't be very successful at the Asian Cup either but who knows, luck still plays a role in football!

This match proved once again that most of Iranian coaches have are only good in domestic league but on international level, mirinan. And this goozoo Alhavij or whatever he's called (Assistant coach from GolGohar) was on Football Bartar show and talked about how they have developed and worked on plan B and C. terekmoon. And also when it comes to Iranian Coaches, as far as I remember, whenever we had domestic coach for TM, their defence was SOORAKH and we were always worried to concede goals against better and stronger opponents.
