I notice DONBEH and kermanshahi oil is very popular....kermanshahi oil is ok to extend, BUT PLAIN DONBEH IS VERY HEALTH CONCERNING
IN LONG RUN.....
I hope general is not donbeh fan but if he is he needs to cut it out asap if he wants see wc26.
There is a big fitness / health movement now though but it’s trying to compete with years of bad habits--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------

Although based on memory from the last time I was in Iran it tasted like real food and most likely "healthier". No idea if things have changed since then.

I was in Eastern Europe this summer abs the difference in the produce there compared to the watered down North American stuff is insane. Stuff like berries or tomatoes taste like nothing here, and I find eggs to be much worst too.--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------

With all this said we need to wait what will happen to him by next game. I watch many of the food shows too and in reality never remember so much dombeh and roghaneh kermanshahi heyvani on every food kind. Kareh bazi is what I keep hearing! I knew of Kareh khoreh but not so much kareh bazi!

I'm not sure how much of GN's girth is due to hamburgers and iranian pizza, but this skyrocketing of fast food which other members have mentioned has really been shocking.
It became a status symbol like having a nose plaster to be eating burger zoghali - and with delivery apps you can see why obesity rates are increasing.
Fair play to guys like Nekounam who are staying in shape.

Way less walking. Iranians used to walk to buy bread, go to school, do some quick shopping, go to their grandma's house... now it's all driving if possible. Even some of my own relatives would rather drive in Tehran traffic, than take the subway (which is quicker) because it's more "convenient".
In short, we've gotten lazier.
People also drink way more (alcohol + sugar heavy pop), don't do alot of cardio (the few who exercise are obsessed with mass gain), and generally eat more at the end of the day, rather than the beginning.
Modernity + our own Iranian goshadi.
