Something that people haven't mentioned is one reason why AFC coaches in general are much less capable than UEFA is that AFC coaching license is WAYYYYY easier to get. You have to bust your ass off to get EUFA pro license (different than the UEFA A license that some of our previous and domestic coaches have had which is less difficult), to the point of having to do presentations/write papers/go past a committee. Pretty much anyone versed in basic football can get their AFC coaching license. Its a joke.
I'm not saying ALL UEFA coaches are better, but in general, the training/education/certification process is more rigorous.
