I completely admire your support of this player vs almost the rest of the forum. I also don't think he should be anywhere near the national team but if he proves you right then will hold my hand up and apologise.
I just can't see it, he drives me crazy

The Official Match Ball of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™ Final Revealed
WED, 20 DECEMBER, 2023
Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and Kelme have unveiled the Official Match Ball of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™ Final, as passionate fans across the globe gear up for the biggest continental showdown kicking off in Qatar on 12 January 2024.
The Official Final Match Ball, named VORTEXAC23+, builds on the design of the Official Match Ball of the tournament, VORTEXAC23, and embodies the glory of the highly anticipated decider of the competition on 10 February 2024.
VORTEXAC23+’s gold colour takes inspiration from the desert sands of the host nation, Qatar, which combines elegantly with the nation’s traditional maroon colour. The contrast reflects the competitive spirit of the most exciting moments, as the dominance of the gold depicts the glory of reaching and competing for the coveted AFC Asian Cup™ title.
AFC General Secretary Datuk Seri Windsor John said: “The AFC is delighted to mark the latest milestone with our valued partner Kelme through the launch of the VORTEXAC23+ and we thank them for the continued support to the Asian game.
“We are confident that we will witness our grandest ever edition of the AFC Asian Cup™ to date, and through its visually stunning design and quality performance standards, the VORTEXAC23+ exemplifies our ambitions to provide the best two teams in Asia with the optimum stage to compete for ultimate glory.”
Mr. Ke Yongxiang, KELME Chairman said: “The unveiling of the Official Final Match Ball signifies that the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™ has entered its concluding phase of preparation. We are delighted to play a role in the momentous AFC Asian Cup™, where KELME’s innovative design and technology will take centre stage. With great anticipation, we eagerly await the forthcoming final match, where we will witness the VORTEXAC23+ in action.”
VORTEXAC23+ was designed by the AFC’s Official Global Supporter of National Team Competitions, Kelme, exclusively for the Final Match of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™. The ball has also undergone extensive technical testing to ensure it meets the highest standards of performance, quality, durability, and readiness for use in the competition

AFC ASIAN CUP
Player to Watch: Mehdi Taremi (IR Iran)
MON, 11 DECEMBER, 2023SHARE
Kuala Lumpur: Strikers from the Islamic Republic of Iran have long had to live in the shadow of those who have gone before them, such is the depth of historic talent to have led the line for Team Melli.
But over the last eight years Mehdi Taremi has established himself as a star in his own right for both club and country, joining the greats of Iranian football.
Factfile
Name: Mehdi Taremi
Age: 31
Position: Forward
Caps: 74
Goals: 41
Club: FC Porto (Portugal)
The former Persepolis and Al Gharafa forward is not only seen as one of the best of his generation; he is widely viewed as one of Asian football’s most potent attacking forces ever.
His statistics speak for themselves: no player turning up at the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™ has scored more goals in the UEFA Champions League than Taremi’s nine in 24 games, the most ever netted in the competition by any player from Asia.
The 31-year-old is considered one of the most potent forwards in European club football, scoring regularly at domestic and continental level for Portuguese giants FC Porto since joining the club after a one-year stint with Rio Ave in 2020.
Taremi started his career with his hometown club, Shahin Bushehr, before a switch to Iranjavan, where the goals started to flow prompting Tehran giants Persepolis FC to sign the forward in 2014.
Eight goals in his debut season for the club saw Taremi earn a call-up for the national team and over the next three seasons the striker was to grow ever more prolific, encouraging Al Gharafa to sign the then 25-year-old.
An 18-month stay in Qatar was followed by his switch to Rio Ave, where 21 goals in 37 games encouraged Porto to take him to the Estadio Dragao, where he has since won the 2021-22 league title and was last season’s leading scorer.
The goals have flowed for Iran, too, with 41 in 74 games placing him fourth on his country’s all-time list behind the iconic Ali Daei, legendary goal-scoring midfielder Karim Bagheri as well as his teammate and strike partner Sardar Azmoun.
He scored twice at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, striking twice against England having failed to find the net in his debut at the tournament four years earlier.
Taremi’s strengths lie in his ability to play as a central striker or in a deeper role behind a partner. Alternatively, he can also cut in from a position wide on the left, providing his team with significant tactical flexibility

Kaanaani is the only cb that dares to take 2-3 steps up the field with the ball, and hit a hard straight forward cutting the lines pass to our forwards. The rest just hit them sidewayz passes, 1-2 meter passes and backpasses only.
Thats why we need him, specially since we miss that profile at our dcm position aswell. Ezza have the quality, but since not playing in the correct tempo for years, he misses that half a second he needs to get advantage in the situations in games vs tougher opponents, to give himself the space and time to turn around and move. They cant all be AK8 with eyes on the neck and xray'vision like the alien vs predator movie.
We kind of need another Kaanani or atleast one with his passing skillz in cdm (2way player) in midfield. In my eyes, Ghoddos is more of an COM. We need that type of a player a bit behind his position to link and complete the team.
KANAANI FOR AC, AND IF THE TEAM IS DEVIDED IN GROUPS AGAIN AND STARTING THIS BS, GENERAL MIGHT LOOSE/LOST THE LOCKERROOM DRAGAN ARMANI BADEMJOON SKOCIC STYLE.
Yani hamin maybe its better to bring back CQ dige, hanooz chand hafheh moondeh.. 😜
