Iranian coaches with UEFA Pro Licence or AFC Pro Licence

I assume that UEFA Pro Licence and AFC Pro Licence in coaching which both are equal in level are the highest coaching licence available.

Looked at transfermarkt and I noticed that majority of Iranian coaches have A Licence (from AFC), and only 3 have UEFA A Licence. I could not see anyone having AFC Pro Licence, however I found the following who have UEFA Pro Licence, if you find any more please post in this thread. BTW. Some Iranian coaches like Daei, Azizi, Markarian, Bagheri, Derakhshan, Faraki, Zolfagharnasab, Parviz Mazloumi, Farhad Kazemi, Ebrahim Ghasempour and many others either do not have any UEFA or AFC coaching licence or if they do it is not listed for them in their transfermarkt profile, no wonder we haven't seen them coaching outside of Iran. Only Ghasempour has coached in UAE and maybe few other Arab countries in the past which was long time ago.

You have eagle eyes, thank you for letting me know. Very interesting so Abdi owns a 4th-tier Spanish club and was assistant coach of England U17. If the info is correct, good on him. Abdi is truely an asset for Iranian football. I really like to see him as HC of Team Omid or Team Melli in the future.

Abbas Chamanian coached various Jr national teams of Iran, I think it would be good to try him as Team Omid coach.

Samad Marfavi, Alexander Nouri, Vahid Hashemian perhaps good choices for Team Omid.

pity it's a 4th tier club. Imagine if it was La Liga or Segunda, then some of TM players could have joined

I would love it if it became a requirement for TM head coach to have pro license. To get your pro license you have to learn to speak English and also give a dissertation presentation to EUFA/AFC committee where you give a hour long presentation on the topic assigned to you, and answer and related questions they have.

You get forced to develop a somewhat tactical maturity otherwise you have to do it again

Since last year, they made it a requirement for coaches in Iran Pro League to have at least A Licence (from AFC), however Iran being Iran, it seems that still few coaches without the requirements manage to get in and get appointed as Head Coach of a club. Eventually, I guess in few years time they will probably enforce for all HC of clubs in Iran Pro League and national teams to be either UEFA or AFC Pro Licence holders.

Back in 2020, apparently there were 65 coaches in Iran who attended the AFC Pro Licence class/training.

Also, back in 2020, Hamid Estili claimed that there 56 Iranian coaches who have either UEFA/AFC Pro Licence.

It seems that most profiles on transfermarkt are either outdated or their editors did not add AFC Pro Licence as a qualification for managers.

So in addition to those that I listed as having UEFA Pro Licence, the following Iranian coaches also have Pro Licence according to the source below, despite the fact that in their tranfermarkt profile they have "A Licence" or no qualification listed for them. The strange thing is that despite the fact UEFA and AFC Pro Licence are supposed to be equivalent, coaches who want to coach in Europe should have UEFA Pro Licence, past few years there occasions that coaches from AFC region For Example Australia who applied for Head Coach position in UK or Europe were refused that position and instead got hired as Technical Analyst. So it is very important for Iranian coaches to try and get UEFA Pro Licence if they decide to work in Europe.

Alireza Naseri (UEFA Pro Licence) and all the following AFC Pro Licence:

Majid Jalali (current TM Technical Director)
Amir Ghalenoei (current TM Head Coach)
Houman Afazeli (current TM Technical Coach/Consultant)
                  Abdol Samad Marfavi
                  Ali Asghar Modir Rousta
                  Mohammad Mayeli Kohan
                  Hamid Derakhshan
                  Afshin Peyrovani
                  Mohammad Ahmadzadeh
                  Markar Aghajanian
                  Naim Saadavi
                  Ali Daei?
