My prediction is he will feel backlash and will come up with a farfetched story about how TM fans have attacked his mother again and will try to switch the narrative or dastano bepichoone. Remember how random the mum story was? I feel he is going to cry wolf again.

I'm afraid I don't think you understood my post.

Nour has been poor or at best average for TM. Monkere in hasti? Club football is not the same as TM performances, if it was we would enjoyed seeing Enayati, Khalili, Majidi, Ansarian play regulalry for TM.

I mentioned Soroosh not because I want him in TM, I said for a TM squad that lacks creative midfield players, players like Soroosh who are creative midfield qualties should look themselves in the mirror (i.e. should feel dissapointed in themselves) for their own lack of development and improvement to not force their way into a squad where the talent pool for creative midfielders in Iran at the moment is low.

Yes i disagree, Nour has been one of the best CM in TM!
He has been trusted as starter by 3 previous TM coaches, don't tell me all being coincidence!
1. He has huge edge in level of speed compared to other midfielders with exception of Ghoddos maybe
2. He run his ass off during game, he is all over cover lots of space.
3. He is no Nekounam or Ando on their prime but he has the profile to run a midfielder and not having him was huge mistake by GN
4. I can understand this selection if we had better option for what he does but he actually has unique profile!
Both Saeid and Saman are different players.
Now all pressure is on these two guys shoulders!
Good luck with one of the slowest midfielders ever!
Will be fun AC to watch!

With this selection you need to absolutely start Ghoddos!
OR rely on 36 Ebrahimi which still has better speed than Saeid, Cheshmi! Against speedy teams!
Even Saudi has much faster midfielder than us! Forget about Japan and Korea

My line up with this selection is:
Beiro
Ramin, Kanani, Majid, Hajsafi
Saeed-Saman
JB- Mohebbi
Taremi- Sardar(Moghanlou)

As it was said before, both exclusion of Nour, both Saeid and Saman need to have an outstanding tournament in order for us to go far!!

He tried to make as inclusive a list of the old players and controversial ones so when it inevitably crashes and burns he can be somewhat get less blame.

Also, he has royally screwed the next coach and laid the job of finding/testing/incorporating new players to him.

According to V3, Roma wants to keep Azmoun for the two important games they have coming up, the last of which is on Jan 14, day of Iran v Palestine...our first game.

If that is the case, then it is not a big deal because we really should not need him for that game and he can join in top form.
