      say what cho want about Carlos's overly defensive tactics or what not , but he was the most thoughtfully thorough long-term planner and more importantly he forced his players to act professionally and his TM played DISCIPLINED Football..!!

        Have a feeling Moghanlou will have decent tournament if he get good mins

              This whole Sardar drama will have negative impact to dressing room!
              If i was GN, i will not let him join the team if he decide to show up for elimination round only!

                  grow up everyone , stop with the criticism of Sardar , if we can’t win all these 3 games without Sardar and make it to the knock out stage , then we shouldn’t even worry about

                  we need to break from this mentality, a certain players own a spot in TM ,,, and without that player we are doomed , we need to have higher expectations of the fringes players , so when they are giving a chance, they prove themselves, no one owns a spot you have to earn it


                  the only problem , the person in charge to delegate and decide who is part of the TM , Ghalenoi, , he is the weakest link in the team ….…not the players..

                    I understand the disappointment, but I also see Sardar’s perspective.

                    How many team melli players in history have ever played under a top coach like Mourinho?

                    He’s also showing he’s taking his club career seriously. Leaving a club like AS Roma to play against Palestine, Hong Kong, and UAE? I personally wouldn’t either if I’m trying to resurrect my club career. We should beat those teams with our B team.

                    Plus, the added benefit is he’ll be more fresh in the 2nd round.
