I don't see the point of of overpaying for a below average or washed up European coach. I would say fuck it and give a no name Iranian coach like Hossein Abdi or Rabiei a shot. Someone who has experience doing well with young players and lack of proper resources.

Knowing IFF and how euro-parast Iranian fans are though, I promise they will either overpay for a bum like Paco Jemez or the guy from Gol Gohar.

TM job is very enticing despite all the BS you have to go through. You're a top 25 team in the world on paper. Much more international recognition and the chance to be at a world cup, which is a coach's dream.

I think he'd take it. His resume is just third to CQ and Ivic for a foreign coach in Iranian football
