I honestly view everything thru lens of the Korea match. So when watching these games my focus is more on that. From what I see this team will make it that far and fail at that hurdle if not for miracle...
1. general selection in CM zone and insistence on 2 man CM line to make room for an extra underperforming winger is bizarre. ARJ and Mohebbi give far too little output for their huge amount of minutes.
2. Omid has definitely lost a few steps but at least he can keep possession and has tactical awareness about him. He will get cooked vs Koreans though. Nour would have been good option here, but he would not guarantee anything either. Saman and Saeid are both in good shape, Saman had a bad mistake but good performance otherwise. Same with Saeid bar a givewaway or two. But if they had a third profile next to them to help covering ground I think their performances would elevate even more.
3. The defense still really struggles in 1v1 battles. at CB Konate was giving kanani all sorts of problems today, he is an average RPL level forward, previously milad teammate on akhmat. Koreans have a similarly built CF who is in solid form for midjytlland in denmark who will start for them up top, flanked by Son and Hwang who are of course in deadly form in PL. Shoja and Majid look ahead of kanani to me at the moment.
4. At fullback moharrami I thought did well. few times showed great recovery speed, some good drives forward. Milad had a good game, especially on the offensive end but also solid defensively. His issue is that his performance fluctuates so wildly, mainly towards shit. Can he really be trusted? Aria Yousefi coming in at RB actually had an impressive game I thought besides the one handball incident (did it hit his head or hand? Regardless the type of inexperienced dipshit decision that will ensure GN never gives a competitive minute to youngsters). Loved his speed and drives down that side. This kid has what our team lacks, speed, variability, dynamism. HosseinNejad has it too, should be there instead of useless ghayedi.
One solution is to fullback situation I think should really be considered is following: Move sadegh to left back. He has played there for dinamo, even in euro comps before and done well. We need his recovery speed in the backline. Then Ramin can take RB spot. Another option is sadegh at RB and Ramin and RW (what Ramin really wants to be but fucks us defensively when he tries it). Ramin is a bigger threat offensively than ARJ or Mohebbi right now, and in a game vs SK this will solidify right hand side.
Regarding Moghanlou, Asadi I don't think they will really play, unless Asadi somehow emerges in GN calculation for CM which is doubtful, so don't really think their performances need to be analyzed in detail. If moghanlou does have to start any match of note know that we are fucked.
Gholi still looks out of it, very rusty. Doubt he will be ready to properly contribute off bench until final group game. Ghayedi should be banished and never return, the guy is not a professional footballer. Just having him pictured with our alledgedly professional team in front of international cameras is a huge embarassment.Comment

As others have pointed out, we need to supplement Ghoddos and Eza with another MF player, that would be Nourollahi because he fills up space and is quick defensively, but his falling out with GN was disastrous for the team. Ebrahimi will get exposed badly against a quicker team because he can't keep up at no fault of his own. This I think is the most glaring problem.
The second concern is the CB position. Hosseini is a locked starter, but we need to figure out whether Kanaani or Shoja should be the second option. Shoja has had some really good games, like against Uruguay and Bulgaria, so I would like to see him tested against Indonesia and a group stage match to see him in action again. He is one of those players who isn't great for club but sometimes will shine with effort for TM. He just kind of feels out of place though and not sure whether he'd be a major liability against a team like SKComment
