To add on more to this....it's also really not the job of the national team to teach players to act professionally and how to play. The job of the national team is to compile the best possible XI, layout a plan of action, and provide tactical coaching. It's just unfortunate that Kanaani is getting more time when we have for example Hazbavi who continuously proves himself game after game at only 20 only to not get invited/or given a chance.

I've watched CQ in the games that we lost due to mentality and I can see that its his fault. He starts argueing with the ref , he gets angry real fast . This sends bad messages to our players.

In 2015 CQ started beef with Australian refree and he f*cked us over.

In 2022 WC against england when Beiro was injured he did a "whaaaay khak to saram shod gesture". this sends really bad message to the other goali (like you're shit and beiro is better than you". The comentator was also shocked to see that reaction from CQ.

2019 Asian Cup against Japan he did the same shit.

He did not start or even take small fast technical players . e.g. Khalatbari is one example . Ghoddos is another example (in WC) Like what kinf of idiot would bench an PR player.

mashti jan Ali beiro was subbed out in 20th minute. Out of 20 minute, 5-6 minute was time wasting ( ali laying down on the ground). ali beiro didn't have the same energy against USA. While on other hand Hosseini had 90+13 minutes of clean sheet against wales.

Mahsti jan I was talking about his (CQ) psychological behavior which was so amateur . You should NOT do the Vaay Khak Bar Saram shod infront of your team and specially your 2nd goalie! what kind of message are you sending your 2nd goalie with that gesture.

What general needs to do is keep strong defensive shape in midfield, and rely on our intelligent Ghoddos-Torabi-Taremi connections on left side and speedy counterattacking right side with JB/Mohebi and Azmoun. If defense stays how it is = we exit in quarterfinals simply put. We need everyone to run back and defend, everyone has to run their ass off. Ezatolahi needs to stay back and watch for holes in defense while distributing.

Those are some ideas.I actually don't mind Shoja at RB, he is more defensively minded and his long balls to Azmoun are always decent.

IMO against SK 4-4-2 is correct. We need to take advantage of the fact that their wingbacks aren't the best at defending.

Exactly for this tournment, let's support tm and general..... cq for good being gone well there is chance if general don't make semi , 2.5 years contract might be awarded to cq to make team tm young and seat on tm bench for wc26.

This is part of football. Possibly personal bias can come into play, but I doubt there were any "orders" from the top telling the refs to be anti-Iran or a conspiracy against us. Remember, these referees do not want to mess up. Messing up means their career prospects are on the line and they get meticulously assessed for these matches as it determines whether they will continue in the tournament.

For every example you listed, I could also list an example of a referee calling critical decisions in our favor. Iran vs Oman in the round of 16 - the referee should have sent off Majid Hosseini for the 1st minute penalty. It was a red card as well as a penalty (the rule change did not occur yet at that point downgrading a DOGSO (denying an obvious goal scoring) attempt for the ball in the penalty area). In the same game, the referee gave us a penalty which was quite questionable.

In 2022 World Cup Qualifying games the quality of refereeing was excellent for Team Melli. There wasn't a single badly refereed game. Perhaps Iran vs. Lebanon in Mashad was the one exception. In the tournament itself it was good for us. VAR intervention sent off the Wales GK. If there was a conspiracy, wouldn't this have hurt us? Also we were awarded a VAR penalty in Iran-England and avoided a penalty earlier in the game (there was a foul on an England player during a cross).

The Argentina game you mentioned, yes, it was a penalty, but you needed to see it on slow motion to 100 percent determine that. Remember, the referee did not have VAR, was in a poor position, since it was a counter attack, and was far away from the play.

Ben Williams, in 2015, just forgot he gave Pouladi a yellow card when he cautioned him before. It's an unforgivable mistake in a game like that, but not unprecedented. A referee from Croatia-Australia game in the 2006 WC gave a player three yellow cards in one game and it ended his career.

Unless you can prove a referee getting "paid" to call against TM, I don't think it's a good idea to speculate that.

But I do agree with you Iran is a target of many political campaigns due to geopolitics influencing sports, namely the lack of sponsorships (nike and adidas in the world cups), playing games in neutral venues, Ukraine requesting to disqualify us from the WC, our players not getting the same opportunities, the effect of sanctions on sport, etc.
