Man, we always seem to get worst possible opponents at every tournament. It's either England/USA which turns into a political match or it's freaking Palestine which everyone is probably gonna make political and call it "Hamas derby" or something.

Why can't we just get Netherlands in world cup for once? Croatia? Costa Rica? Or how bad is our luck that we ended up with Palestine instead of another team in the same pot like India?

For some reason TM always has to deal with political nightmare in group stages of every tournament this stupid regime puts us in

Its been some "unlucky" draws politically but unfortunately thats how the world judges us not vice versa.

I still remember some people calling for Iran to be kicked out of 2006 WC because of stuff Mahmoud joon said about Israel and our group was Mexico, Portugal, and Angola.

The only political thing about that group is that we between Mexico and Portugal we have better meat and rice and between Angola's Kizaca, our ghormeh sabzi is superior.

Somehow they still made it political.
