Anyone watching the Uzbekistan and Syria game will realize very quickly how average and not strong this uzbek team is and how we removed our foot from the pedal and let the Uzbekistan‘s dictate the game to us and we didn’t match their intensity level that was it.

They aren’t more skillful than we are , nothing about their team is better than ours only one aspect they had intensity, and they played hard We just stop playing for for basically 50 minutes of the game and they came back into the game.

this usually falls on the coach
I never saw CQ team have a mental fart for 50 mins like they did vs UZB

cough cough thanks to Ali Karimi, Saeid Ezatolahi and Rouzbeh Cheshmi

I kid you not I've seen high school midfielders with better pace and work rate

Agreed. They’re an ok team, but we made them look much better than they actually were.

We completely outclassed them in the 1st half of that match, and got too comfortable. I think we were surprised at our own dominance.

This “surprise” comes from our inferiority complex. Taking every opponent seriously, but doing it from a place of confidence, not out of fear, on a consistent basis, is what will push us to the next level.

Yes it falls on the coach ,,, that is the weakest link we have in this team actually not the players …. Coach decided who plays and the tactics …..

look at Syria, they brought Héctor Cúper they lost 5-1in World Cup qualifying to Japan. He change the whole team. He brought 9 new legionnaires into the team he got rid of every single player above 30 and look at them today, They played decent. They were probably more dangerous than Uzbekistan, and maybe could have won the game….

It the other note I noticed today was the Uzbekistan players were very tired and I looked at the weather in Doha and it’s really hot up to 85°

. I personally think fat Azmoun will not be good for these games because he gets tired in like 10 minutes, he needs to come off the bench , Fat Sardar … need to come from the bench and not start …

all we’re saying is the team shouldn’t be taken lightly. They will park the bus and frustrations will build.
I guess not fear of the team but as you say fear of not being able to break them down. What I mean is regardless of how much they try and frustrate us, as a team, as individual players, with the right prep and tactics (appreciate GN isn't a mastermind) we should be able to overcome whatever they throw our way.

Be omide piroozi by a few goals!

I agree. On our worst day we should expect 3 goals. Be omide pirooziye ghateaneh!
