The way he scored he reminded me of PEDRO RODRIGUEZ.

Its always a plus he has learned the art of composure. Will be very interesting following this guys development in TM. All the best of luck to him and allt the other sarbaz that are serving our country. He has big shoes to fill if Sardar is injured and its in everyones interest that he become a new PEDRO.

I'm hoping his decision making when in key positions will be similar to what we have seen in the last two games, and not baldness-inducing Ghaedi of the past

I think it's always important to say "I was wrong" when being, indeed wrong.

Ghaedi made team of the tournament and was ranked iran's best player - I didn't think he should be invited.

Other things I was wrong about:

- Angry with Queiroz for playing Taremi over others in 2018 and investing in this player when I thought Dejagha, Gucci and Ansarifard are better foreign based players. He was right, sorry.
- Saying Beiranvand would never sign for a European club based on his own personality traits- I mean it didn't really work out, but I was wrong.
- Support of Branko in 2005 and thinking future is bright with all these 21-23 year old starlets coming through and us looking like the most talented young team in Asia
- Angry with Queiroz for not taking Khalatbari in 2014 world cup (wouldn't have worked with the way we had to play with our squad strength. Nigeria alone would have flattened him)
- Angry with Queiroz for inviting and then choosing to play Majid Hosseini, when I thought Seyed Jalal was the obvious choice.

And, his physical size isnt his fault. he cant just grow taller out of nowhere.

I was also wrong about him. He's a useful player for Asian level, and a good option from the bench against lower level opposition. Would have him in the squad.
