After some time to cool off emotions here’s some positive:
1) Weaknesses were heavily exposed, and the coaching staff is not blind to it so I anticipate some adjustments
2) Saman did not get injured
3) Players who were hurt a bit in the first game (Azmoun) or who will play a key part (Moharrami) were rested
4) 3 points

Regarding your point, we haven't been successful i.e. reaching a final in the AC or advancing to the next round in the WC. It is time we played with a different philosophy because your approach has been tested for over 40 years.

May I ask, were our opponents back then considered to be as good if not better than us in Asia? My understanding is that our opponents such as South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait were very good but we were in a category level above them like Japan is today? If so then I would like to correct my statement. But regardless, my point is that I would like to see a strong line-up against top sides and a line-up where we can attack and retain possession at the same time. So my starting line-up against any top side we play would be.

----Moharami---Kanani--Shoja----Ehsan

----Gholi--------Saman----------Ghaedi
-------------Azmoun------Taremi--------
But it's delicate, because it relies on the team's ability to keep the ball which is why Jahanbaksh for instance would completely render this type of line-up ineffective.
We will have a shaky defence regardless of how we play and how many defensive minded players we put in the line-up. We will still invite attack after attack by good sides.
I have had enough of this style of football. I want us to try to score goals with attacking players and if we lose the game we can have our head held high and say we came to play football.

he taked over tm that did not even qualify from its ac group and got ass kicked in wcq94.....
he built with what was considered a youth movement in that era. His 96ac team is most dominating ac team last 48 years, refs robbed tm
against ksa in semi if not that trophy easily belonged to him...mamad myli made tm elite again before him tm sucked for 6 years period.
