I get that he's slow but players like Milad, Cheshmi, and Mohebi are just straight shit where they don't have any football intelligence.

Despite that HJ is still mid and we need to go on a hunt for a decent and young left back in this national team
After this ac norafkan will be the lb until 2031ac

He is an athletically talented but unintelligent goalie. It's one of the reasons he couldn't make it in Europe.

His decision making is very poor.

I take Niazmand any day over him.
Very well said. That's exactly my view. Some keepers might not be as athletically as him but very smart and intelligence. They use their intelligence to compensate for other shortcomings they have like Abedzadeh.

This is accurate. Maybe a 4 for Milad as I don't think he was better than Hosseini... But they were all pretty god awful.

I don't have a problem with the sar morabi saying this in front of the media to protect the fragile egos of our players. It's pretty obvious he doesnt think we played a good game. My problem is with Jahanbakhsh seemingly delighted in post-match interviews.

Also, Id rather put Ghoddos aka Saman Pirlo as LB as panic solution if needed tbh. If he can hamdle it in PL, im sure he can handle it in TM. Same for ARJ, good pani aolution for RB, id lile to se him in Potterposition RB. Time for Mahdavikiaswitch of positions in older dayz?
Might be an option for the future. I do not see any alternative to going to 352 or 343 formation in order to provide new options on the defensive wings. Right now our only complete option is sadegh. All others either lack defense [HajSafi, Ramin) or offense (MiMo). With 352 we could try Torabi, Gholi, Arj, mohebbi an others in order to figure out who fits...

Many referees have said it should've been a red card against Beiro. Let's not hear about bias against us again please from refs 😂

Of course it should have been a red.

Kanaani is mentally unstable. Like the useless handball he did against HK with zero pressure while winning. He also has a bad temper, you can easily push him to mental Collapse. His judgment overall is poor (as also highlighted with the bus incident lol).

It’s a shame because when he’s on, he’s unstoppable and and he actually can do very good long passes, and has a strong header. But he, like Mohammadi, you never know what version of him you’re going to get. I always used to rip on Hajsafi, but at least with him you know you will get a 7/10 rated performance with him every game (never good, just average).

I think from these tests it’s clear that actually Shoja is our best CB, and PAG is better than we thought too.

but man our biggest problem is our midfield, holy shit Ezatolahi and Cheshmi are bad. And saman is doing amazing but you can see his height limits him in duels pretty often and we are not using him to his strengths, but thank god he has developed to be so versatile.

No interviews but I sent the clip to some pro refs and they agreed on red.

great discussion by azizi and rabiei regarding tactical issues of TM.

Rabiei, doing great job with zob ahan, one of the best young coaches in our league comes to the same conclusion many of us in this forum have.

                            1. We are too reliant on ghoddos for playmaking. We lack any other avenues of bazi-sazi in the middle of the pitch.

                            2. When both fullbacks join the attack we are totally open in counterattacks/defensive transition moments. This vulnerability is even more pronounced bc of how old and slow the team is. We are most vulnerable with the full back combo of hajsafi+rezaeian.

                            3. In another clip he mentions positioning of taremi as CAM/Second Striker to which Azizi responded that there were long discussions regarding this. Taremi himself told the staff he is comfortable to play off the left, where CQ used him. Azizi agreed and wanted Saman and another midfielder to partner saeid. GN and other assistants disagreed and do not want taremi wide bc of concerns regarding tracking back, something Taremi told them would not be an issue for him.

Ultimately azizi goes on to say they toyed with the idea of saeid's partner in the 8 role for so long and there are drawbacks to all the options, but that Saman gave them the best chance at success there. Rabiei agreed but maintained that the team will be undermanned off the ball with essentially phantom 3 man midfield of a 6(Ezatolahi), 8 (Ghoddos), and sometimes 10 (Taremi). So he suggested that vs bigger opponents Ghayedi will be dropped for Mohebbi, who provides more cover defensively. And again he explained what many of us here have said, that ghayedi gives nothing in defensive phase.

What do you think of the idea that Azizi brought up around how resting key players is not a good idea since they will lose form? I think he's right but it's a long tournament. At the same time, he says that those players need to build chemistry on the field especially if our preparation was not great

He’s right imo. Saeid needs minutes under his belt, he’s not in horrible shape like before but he didnt play for a month since danish league went on break. Sardar needs to build up his minutes also.

its not bad that he rotated vs HK. IMO it was the last rotatable match. Moving forward, esp with how bad the reserves were, he needs to get the best guys on the pitch so they build continuity ahead of critical Ko games.

one point these guys should mention is absence of nourollahi. His inclusion would have given us our best possible CM line. Saeid, nour, saman. That would get the best out of all 3 of them and give the team more defensive balance. Shift taremi left and have nour as LCM to cover the Lb more. Gholi or Torabi on the right and azmoun up top. Ghayedi/mohebbi/arj as wing sub options.

can’t believe for lajbazi Gn didn’t invite him. And nour for his part is also a dumbass. Yeah he was benched but he should have recognized the others were so bad that Gn would come back to him in crunch time.
