[Poll] Lose against UAE and avoid Japan or beat UAE and face Japan before the final?

we are way over thinking this supposed should we lose or win the uae match dilemma as if its only up to us ..!
it's actually a simple decision the game result if by enlarge is meaningless ... so use the game mostly as a experimental friendly and as a tune-up to likely far more stern challenges lying ahead in round 16 and hopefully beyond...!
use the game to polish up the games of your rusty usual starters... like Sardar, possibly even Mehdi/Saeed/Hsafi/Shoja in limited minute capacity.. otherwise testing out your backup GKs, wingers, WB and CBs, CMs and most importantly fully resting marquee important players that we have very low depth in quality replacements like Saman, Kananni , even ARJ, Ramin/sadegh..!
perhaps experimenting with Asadi in CM role or yanking back cheshmi to CB role ? maybe see how Moghanlou fair as a RW/Lw attacker partnering Sardar as target CF.. or in more of 10 role..?
imo, Final Result shouldnt matter at all in this game @ ALL...... simple as that.. ..!

نگاه میکنید.

Next match day could change everything as the other teams

Play around with them until 50 ,60 minutes then use your physical advantage ability and attack.
these group of players against arab teams have high confidence AND EVERY SINGLE OF ARAB TEAMS ARE SCARED SH. LESS OF TM.
Stop with the lose to UAE rhetoric.

Not saying we should lose, but there are teams that have done it. Ofcourse in the case of Iran, the question is could the team put it all back together after such a loss .....

Makes zero sense to lose to UAE.
1. playing Japan not guaranteed. They would have to beat Korea/Jordan first
2. Iraq looks good. Lots of Swedish and danish born players. Not same team as old with anjad attwan, safaa Hadi, resan, tariq as key players
3. Japan doesn’t even look that good. What diff does it make playing strong team in QF than SF. On this side of bracket we would play crappy Qatar or Uzbek in SF
with healthy team and Ghoddos, ezat, taremi/azmoun we can beat anyone

Its not even about the moral obligation to win (although that itself is a fine argument).
The path as 1st place team is still better for us...
If we finish second we need to play an amped up Iraqi side with huge fan support in QF and then aussie/saudi in semi. No guarantee we get thru iraq or aussie/saudi.
If we finish first we play Syria and then the winner of a likely highly draining japan/korea match. Win that and we play uzbek/qatar. Much easier prospect than saudi/australia.
Not to mention the shit mood around the camp if we fail to beat uae.

So far Australia, saudi, iraq are in one side, iran, japan and jordan are in the other.
Iraq and japan position are known.
Before our game, we will know if Australia stayed in their side or switch to Japan's one.
After our game, both SK and KSA could "decide" to finish 2nd and change side of the KO bracket.
Basically we can't exactly know which side is better before our game. And anyway, jordan, iraq can very easily GN circus team out. At least against KSA, Japan.. Maybe our players will wake up and play their A game

We are representing our country on a quest to prove we are the best team on the continent. Losing on purpose, when representing your country is just plain shameful. And if you want to win the cup, you have to beat the best teams.
We don’t need an “easy” path, we have one of the best squads in the completion and this is their last chance to prove themselves. This team has been around a decade in the making, let’s see what they can really do!--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------
--Moharrami----Hosseini--Kanaani----Amiri--
------------------Ezatolahi-----Ebrahimi--------------
--Jahanbaksh---------Ghoddos------------Taremi--
---------------------------Azmoun----------------------

Imo of all teams we definitely matchup worst against Japan & SK ..! Especially Japan..!
fast, organized, technical , well composed & able to run @ u hard for 90plus minutes..!
besides possible slight edge in hight n physicality can’t think anything we could do better than them & worse still we have abysmal record against them in most all important games..!
sure a fixture vs Iraq n SA even Aussies is likely to be a dog-fight of sorts but we certainly posses the edge in high level experience & more importantly our styles & strengths as team matches up well & overall we possess a favorable head to head record thus the the all important Confidence to face & defeat them ..!

My favourite ironic account on twitter is this faux-jamaican guy called Junior something! He is absolutely hilarious - just wants us to play attacking football and isn't into defensive shape or anything. he has this really funny west indies accent he puts on, even though he is iranian LOOOOL
Weirdest thing is the IR-apologist statements though... mad - that's what Bob Marley would want
