I think you have to go full force against Syria. We don't know what type of Syrian team will come out of the gates. If they score first would also be disastrous

    I would go:

    Beiro

    Rezaian Hosseini Shoja Mohammadi
    Eza Hajsafi
    Taremi Ghoddos Golizadeh
    Azmoun

I also don't think we should take any teams lightly in the knockout stages.

Full force, and only sub out your best players if you're up by a massive margin.

      Beiro

      Rezeaian Hosseini Shoja Hajsafi
      Ezza Saman
      JB Taremi Gholizadeh
      Azmoun

If we are up by a couple of goals after the 70 minute mark.

      Omid for saman
      Rouzbeh for Ezza
      Torabi for Gholizadeh
      Asadi For JB
      Karim for Azmoun

For me if we get out of this game without Taremi or Azmoun being injured, it would be a miracle

these guys will kill our players on the pitch

Guys, I have been contemplating a line-up for several days. In my opinion the below is the way forward for this game allowing our main players to rest. Here the only three starters for the Korea/Japan game would be Beiro, Ehsan, and Ghaedi. It would be a huge mistake to play Shoja. I rewatched the UAE game, if he gets injured we're in a world of trouble. Secondly, he looked exhausted at the end of the game and so if he plays against sooriye, he won't recover in time for the Korea/Japan game.

            -----------------Beiro---------------
            --Arya--Fallah—Majid—Ehsan
            ---------------Cheshmi-------------
            ---Jahanb.----Omid-----Ghaedi
            ----------------Torabi--------------
            -------------Moghanloo-----------

The strategy I would employ is the following:

            Defensively:
            1. First 20 minutes I would control the game, i.e. not many attacks, to allow us to assess our opponents and give our players, many of whom haven’t played together some time to get into the game
            2. Arya and Fallah would be protected by Cheshmi, Omid, and Jahanbaksh who will have a defensive focus

            Attack-wise:
            1. Our goals will come from Ghaedi attacking the box and either crossing the ball to Moghanloo or cutting back to Torabi to shoot which is why we don't need Saman. The attacks will come from the wings
            2. The key to victory is to utilise Torabi’s shooting capability outside the box to get us a goal. The cutback to Torabi is what will win us this game. Moghanloo who is a wrecking ball can also get on a header sent from Ghaedi or Jahanbakhsh.

If we don’t score by the 60th minute, I would convert to:

            -----------------Beiro---------------
            --Arya--Fallah—Majid—Ehsan
            ---------------Cheshmi-------------
            ---Gholi.----Saman-----Torabi
            ---------------Taremi--------------
            ---------------Azmoun ------------

If we have scored a goal using the orginal line-up, then I would change to get us a 2 goal cushion:

            -----------------Beiro---------------
            --Arya--Fallah—Majid—Ehsan
            ---------------Cheshmi-------------
            ---Gholi.------Ezat-----Mohebbi
            ----------------Torabi--------------
            ----------- ---Taremi--------------

Please no Cheshmi 😭I rather play Ezatolahi there for defensive security and clean passes then Asadi or something as CM

Why is there a 8 days break before this game? And then 3 days to the next? Who made the schedule, a newborn?

Syria is a strong nation who survived the wolves of the West trying to divide their nation without any help from anyone else they have a long footballing history and pedigree.

Their players are half Argentinian and world cup champs and also Swedish master race where Zlatan was born which makes us the underdogs.

Ezat will burn out so we can't play him. Cheshmi will do a job in this position with the defensive formation, players, and tactics I outlined.

Asadi is being utilised as a striker, he is no longer a defensive player for club or country

He mostly plays CM for Sepahan, I think he can take that role

Pas inam mishe but I think Cheshmi has the experience to perform better for us in this position against a limited physical side

How do I get to your universe? In mine the wolves of the East and a bunch of Pasdars run that country .

Be sure friend this Syrian national team is the strongest team in Asia and they singlehandedly without any help from people who invented salad shirazi or borscht handled the West. Their team has Argentinian world cup winners and Swedish models, and also Greek influencers, we stand no chance of beating them. Iran are the underdogs.

Couldn’t help but notice that out of all the RO16 matches, our match is in the smallest stadium!!! With a capacity of only 10,000…
