Firstly of all the referee was awful, kanani penalty was super soft , he had no intention to foul him , so it did not deserve a yellow card , the mohebi goal was 100% legit , and 13 minutes of extra time ???!?


Some mistakes from GN :

- pulling Ghoddos, gholizadeh, ghayedi all at the 66 min. , dude you , we have 8 day rest , why not play these players until the 75 minute, then when you do decide to pull them pull them off 1 by 1….. we went from sharp speedy, technically strong , to sloppy and slow ( jahanbakash, Omid, mohebi) ,,, too much change all at once, we already had the game we needs to be careful with that

-we are 2 goals up , we scored 3 goals but none of them counted, it like 80 min maybe we need to slow down the game and kill the game off , instead of relentless attack after attack

Here we go again!! people taking syria lightly just like hong kong and palestine. This syrian team is same level as Iraq. The only reason iraq won against japan was due to their physical and height advantage. Apart from that Iraq has nothing ! 23% possesion and only 232 passes says it all about their team. And syria is exactly like palestine and iraq, they are physical and tall compared to asian teams.

Syria conceded one shity goal against Australia , clearly says it all about their team. I think its safe to say that syria would also beat japan .


I hope South Korea win group so japan has some tough game before us.

I personally hope Jordan tops the group. South Korea will get ran over by Japan because they are missing 5+ starters due to injury and also coached by Klinsmann. Jordan has the ability to shithouse Japan, and they will be scared of TM mentally since we beat them recently in a friendly.

And even if Japan wins, they will be tired and battle worn from fighting a physical game while TM will have gotten 4-5 days of rest after coming off of 8 days of rest, so we will be fresh.


My biggest worry is injuries from Syria game because they play very dirty and physical park the bus style football

Space between syria game and quarterfinal is only 3 days I believe. That will potentially make it tough for us.

We should rest key players against syria or oman and bring them off bench if need it only...almost any line up is well capable of beating both these teams.
number 1 problem tm has is playing on 3 days rest..unfortunately our players cant.
Need to manage other starters minutes as can't.

Way to win trophy is keeping players fresh, it's an art for hc to do that...general failed to make tough decision put us other side bracket, let's see if he can keep them fresh....
