Honestly this might be unpopular but if GN put more trust in younger players and his defensive approach was more sound I wouldn't mind him taking TM to 2026 WC... I really enjoy our offense under him. We feel unstoppable when our strongest full XI is playing his style of open and spacey football. On top of that his record with TM speaks for itself...24 wins, 6 draws, 1 loss (which was in penalties). I just wish he was more flexible

4) The players respect him

we are dramatic people. Personally I don't think there is any better coach than him for us in this moment. His three alternatives are: Nekounam who is poor mans CQ and plays only older players, Yahya who is alright but makes very strange decisions and is dramatic, and Majidi who we all know is NOT TM material. If we go to a foreign coach...only option is sign a foreigner who will need 2-3 years to get familiar with the players again until we call for him to be fired after a single loss anyways.

Stadiums are mostly good, but could someone tell me why a R16 game where a favorite is playing (us) is being hosted in a 10k max capacity stadium? It's insane

GN for me is incredibly under appreciated. I want him in charge long-term.

In 7/8 years, I want either Yahya, Majidi or Nekou in charge.

My prediction is that Majidi will do well in the UAE league in the coming years and get a transfer abroad to a club like Real Sociadad where he has some links. Yahya, will go to a Persian Gulf country, and Nekounam will become manager of Osasuna. Hala bebin!! haha
