Unpopular opinion.
Iran will not get passed Syria. Especially not if it goes beyond the 90 minutes. We haven't met a single team post World Cup who was as disciplined and well organised as this Syrian team. We need to be on our A game and be very clinical. This Syrian team don't give many looks on their goal to the opposition. They conceded only 4!!! shots on target (and one goal) in the whole group stage. I hope Taremi and Azmoun have their shooting boots on. Otherwise we are at serious risk of going out.

It will be tough but based on the quality of our players we should be able to beat them in 90 minutes if -a big if!- we keep disciplined at all times.
