Game was in total control, we were playing much slower than we should have but still ok.
Azmoun was awful in final actions, but still even after PK IMO not much should have changed. We would have kept creating and eventually found a goal.
What killed us was GN subbing ghayedi and Ghoddos for Mohebbi and Omid. Immediately, even before the taremi red that put us down to an effective 9 men.
No idea what the thought process was there... After that team had no playmaking and cbs started to feel pressured into play making...and thats what caused taremi red. Cheshmi randomly strides forward and promptly passes ball to syrians, huge whole is left bc of GN retarded 2 man cm system and suddenly taremi has to cover and make tactical foul to prevent 2v1.
After that it was a total mess...I still somehow give credit to the incapable 10 guys that suddenly found themselves in this perilous situation, at least they didnt capitulate from there. Great pks.
Vs Japan we are screwed royally. I hope GN will be a bit humble and stfu pre game. ARJ did better today, credit to him. He should keep spot vs Japan. Ghayedi was lively today but not very effective. Defensively hes a zero and we need serious cover for hajsafi on that side.

Ezatolahi Ghoddos
ARJ Torabi Gholizadeh

or some variation (Can play gholi central and torabi wide left?). Mohebbi surely cant start after that horror-show. But GN never fails to surprise.Comment

About the man of the match. AFC picked Hajsafi but Khiabani was saying one website picked the left defender of syria and khodadad was saying what did a defender do to even become the man of the match? khiabani said you are not right every time and khodadad almost stood up to hit the guy and shouted and said I am a footballer and did not see him deserving and Khiabani was saying that other experts gave him high rating.
