Really? I haven't followed them for years so I just remember how good they were in 2000s and breaking through to top 4-5 Asian teams

Jordan will be a tough task for them... Even UAE considering they beat Tajikistan.

But they definitely have one of the easiest routes

Not sure about you folks, but to me It's disheartening to see several games of this tournament seem to be strategized with an eye on the knockout stages rather than focusing on the actual game and FairPlay.

This lame approach is frustrating and diminishes the beauty of the competition, turning it into a circus.

I mean you're gullible if you really think Malaysia drawing Korea was just a fluke, same with Jordan losing to Bahrain which was a total mockery of the tournament as well as us the football fans.

I am gutted…

jordan vs bahrain was so abvuse...who would of thought after 3-1 sk victory over bahrain ,Bahrain win the group.both s.k and jordan set their own destiny..

This been going on as long as I remember.in the 80s..when tehran league had 2 groups pp, ss, Shahin, pass, daraie always would have games like jordan match towards end for better seedings....

To Keano ^ this has been done in many tournaments before and they used to call it an upset but nowadays nothing is unplanned and there is almost no upsets anymore but rather planned or paid for. Referees are mostly involved in this as well to make a few bucks I mean many are not all.

Even VAR was created to manipulate the sport outcome Hence they choose which or what goes to be reviewed or even with VAR they do strange rulings such as mohebbis goal as the defender put his body in front oh him and VAR could clearly see it but they oversaw it because they wanted the UAE to be 2nd.

We have seen so many of these in Asia before where Arabs have always affected the outcome of games with their money. This is nothing new but as we grow up we get wiser. Thats why we start to see things more clearly now.

Look at FIFA or AFC ..they can't be more corrupt and some here want them to run clean tournaments? Then how would they make money?

I hope there was fairness in the world but there is not. So don't expect too much from a game that is controlled by the same people who run the world.

Get used to this as we get closer to the finals. You have not seen enough yet. I promise you there are people there who know exactly who will win the Asian cup. Yeah because they have paid for it. Call me whatever you want but I followed football all my life and have seen a lot of these.
