I liked the Japanese commentary so much more because it reminded me of Winning Eleven as a kid when visiting Iran.

            South Korea was just sloppy.

They won't underestimate Iran like that.
Thats because South Korea wasn't suppose to score that 3rd goal at last minutes of the game. South korea wasn't even expecting to get a penalty. Look how they played after the penalty. It was crystal clear that the DF line wanted that goal.

Even VAR was created to manipulate the sport outcome Hence they choose which or what goes to be reviewed or even with VAR they do strange rulings such as mohebbis goal as the defender put his body in front oh him and VAR could clearly see it but they oversaw it because they wanted the UAE to be 2nd.

We have seen so many of these in Asia before where Arabs have always affected the outcome of games with their money. This is nothing new but as we grow up we get wiser. Thats why we start to see things more clearly now.

Look at FIFA or AFC ..they can't be more corrupt and some here want them to run clean tournaments? Then how would they make money?

I hope there was fairness in the world but there is not. So don't expect too much from a game that is controlled by the same people who run the world.

While I agree that there is some behind the scenes planning and gavbazi, in the extent that you describe it (nowadays nothing is unplanned) begs the question, why would you watch then?

I am watching a fairly decent tournament with some questionable influence (3rd VAR cancelled goal for Iran v UAE). Lots of exciting games including SK vs Malaysia, of all things!

I may be just a fool but I am happier for it!

^ just like a drug addict who is not picky about his drug, we Iranians are also addicted and there is no drug for us but Iranian football. But honestly Iranian football is a bad drug with a lots of chemicals in it.

Exactly koka. Exactly the same way they gave iraqi people the cup in 2007. The whole competition was engineered for iraq to win so they can distract and silence people in iraq .

The only country that i think would fix this particular tournament is Saudi Arabia. No point to favour any other team. Lets see if they get some help v S korea

I was going to post the same thing. I almost never root for KSA but I hope they eliminate Korea and send Klinsman back to wherever he lives..

South Korea tried to win. I watched the match and the last goal Malaysia scored was excellent.

And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

I watched the game also. Korea was just making it believable, otherwise they never had any intention of topping the group

On the same token Jordan also deserves to lose to Iraq which they most likely will.
