The game starts at 3:30 am, so shouldn't your alarm be a bit sooner? Like 3:15 am? You need some time to wake up, turn on the chai, check PFDC, etc.

Lmaoooo so funny how accurate that is. This morning I woke up 30 min before to check PFDC, twitter, insta, and a drink. I said 3:30 to stay consistent with kickoff time and keep my post simple but yeah in reality will wake up 3:00. Have to use headphones and laptop this time though, no tv this time of night.

If people have time, from a technical point of view, it’s not a bad idea to rewatch the Asian Cup 2019 semifinal between us and Japan.

Whether we win or lose, it’s good to see how much our tactics and approach will change (for better, or worse) from that game.

Even before they scored their 1st goal on us, I wasn’t particularly fond with our persistent tactic of sending long balls over the top to Azmoun, since he was marked very well, and it’d just give the ball right back to Japan.

It’s going to be interesting to see GN’s tactics against the first superior team under his reign. I’m guessing he has to adjust from our previous games against weaker opponents, but we’ll see.

Japan is as much as a favourite against Iran this time around as Iran was a favourite against Japan last time around , if anything Iran was an even bigger favourite odds wise last time

As we saw Japan the underdogs won last time hopefully Iran can repeat the same feat this time now all pressures on Japan and everyone is counting a tired taremiless Iran out hopefully this will unit the team and we can avenge our silly loss and put that nightmarish game to rest once and for all.
