Agreed, Sardar will now carry the majority of the weight this game and it his time for him to step up and cement himself in TM legacy. We have not beaten Japan since 2005. We beat them today, and we have a huge chance to win the cup.

Last other option is long range shots against this weak keeper.

I just went on Taremi’s Insta, the players are all rallying around him, it’s beautiful to see. They will have more fire this time around - being underdogs which Persians always thrive in, and playing for Taremi honour. I don’t have external anatomy to cut off lol, but if we win I’m giving 2k to charity !!

Dadash the problem with GN is he doesn't enforce a set structure. You got players like Cheshmi playing CB and running off to CM and fullbacks playing like wingbacks, got ARJ playing right winger winger but being found in left wing. Common theme in last 4 games has been everyone running around like a chicken with their head cut off. I agree with what you say but I heavily doubt Ghalenoei or technical staff have intelligence to tell players to chill out at this point though.

That defensive shape in Syria extra time was perhaps the one time I've seen TM hold a consistent structural shape in the last 10 games

yesterday's temperature was almost 79F around 26 Celsius degrees. It was a hot day to play football in an open stadium without an AC so imagine why our players were sweating so much.

Maybe Japan knows what's going on too so they lost to Iraq to see what happens. The Arabs have never shown to be fair and Japanese have been unfairly treated all the time as well so all this might sound like a conspiracy theory to young members but you have to trust our experience as we have watched 10 times more matches in Asian competitions and seen a lot of these. There is no doubts or ifs or buts about this.

We might see some crazy VAR decisions against Japan for Iran to win the game as Qatar does not want them to take revenge of them in the final. They rather have the Mullahs team to win this who they would beat in the final with crazy referee decisions that they can manipulate our federation however they want.

So one thing i just realised, the last time we played Japan was in 2019 Asian Cup where we lost 3-0.

Our team back then was pretty much identical to our starting lineup today.
Our team back then was in much better form than our team today (Azmoun was on fire in Russia and Jahanbakhsh playing in the EPL)
Japan is a much stronger team today than back then (Tomiyasu for Arsenal / Minamino for Liverpool / and a bunch of other players in EPL)

We lost 3 - 0 back then. I hope i'm wrong but i think we're in a for a beating of 5+ goals.

Maybe that's why they panicked on cq losing 4-0 to tm and pulled the plug on him...since they had plaNed for tm vs qatar semifinal all along....if team can drop 4 on u ,no fix plot can help.
