As far as I'm concerned, anything better than last time's 3-0 is an improvement, especially considering that we're missing Taremi and some other key players and we played a 120 minute match with less rest.

I just hope we draw some lessons from the Koreans who were more or less in the same shoes and played one of their best games ever - with lots of heart and fighting mentality. - this match is not beyond TM by any means.

Good line up, seems like we will crowd the middle, impose our physicality, move up the wingbacks, and Prioritize crosses to Azmoun.

i would’ve chosen Hajsafi over Mohammadi, moved JB to LW, and played gholizadeh over Mohebi at RW tho. Leaving both Ghaedi and Gholizadeh is going to limit our creativity, but Ghoddos move further up to take long range shots agaisnt the keeper is good.

Much better balance to the formation. Omid was very impressive when he came on, need his hustle and calmness in the middle.

Personally would’ve chosen Gholizadeh and Torabi on the wings, but I can see why he’s gone for the more physical approach to start with, potentially allowing the speed and trickery of those 2 and Ghaedi to have an impact off the bench against tiring legs.
