Asian Cup 2023 Quarter Finals - Other teams - Not Iran
We are unlucky with refs tbh, or they just hate Iranians. Australia and Korea are manhandling each other and the referee is mostly letting the physical play go on, while that ref in our Syria game gave every contact as a yellow card. I've seen multiple tackles harsher than Taremi's second yellow and not even a foul called by this ref in Australia-Korea. Idk why we get the card happy refs. This game in my opinion should have 5 or 6 yellows on each side thus far if the ref from our Syria game was calling it.
Anyone saying that ref was good is out of their mind. He was giving every contact we made as a yellow. Killed our ability to play physical. I wish we had this Australia-Korea ref for our game tomorrow, we would have a chance if we could play physical without a yellow card every contact.
As much as I wanted Aussie to kill the game, this is not bad for TM, if we beat Japan. There will be a few more yellow cards along the way in extra time, regardless of who advances.

It’s because Taremi is known around the world for diving and the refs know that
I'm referencing the collisions and tackles. I felt like any we did was a yellow card. Guaranteed if we conceded that penalty against Korea like Australia, our defender would get a bonus yellow card. This ref I like, he lets them play on without every contact being a card. That Syria ref was an idiot.

Tm only play them in final.
if there is suspension due to yellow will be enforce in semi....all yellow whip after qf...come final all will play
South Koreans are tanks. They played just three days ago and look at them still having the energy and fitness to keep hammering away.

And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

The ref could have handed 3 Y cards just in extra time. Not sure why he is not.

Well, not that we have a chance against Japan tomorrow, but we have zero chance against this South Korea team even if we make it to the final.
The energy levels of South Korea is stunning.
