I think GN is incredible. Just look at his resume and records for clubs and country.

Maybe I misunderstood your comment. If I did poozesh mikham.
    I actually gave him credit
    That is what i meant
Not sure about incredible but his line up, managing players time and strategy so far paying off!

As if he had anything to do with it. I saw Karim coaching the team more on the sideline than the General.

Well i still would have made other decisions, after 60-70 i would have changed Mohebbi for Torabi, Ebrahimi out Hajsafi in, Gholi in Jahanbakhsh out ..... thank god everThing worked out but maybe the same or even better with the subs.

everOne has his own style, he reminded me of ciro today who also hated subs lol

Around the 60th minute, I had an epiphany, were we playing too "defensive" and "scared" under CQ all those years? I am a big CQ fan and always defended him, but after our win (and performance) today, it makes me wonder "what if"......

I know it's much more complex than that, but the fact that GN was able to put on this performance we never were able to under CQ speaks volumes.

Legit question, when was the last time we came back from being a goal or two down and win with CQ? I can’t remember. Under CQ I dreaded TM getting scored on but it’s refreshing that they have it in them to come back from a goal down.

I always wonder what would’ve happened at the WC if we had kept Skocic at the helm.

Last competitive match was vs Lebanon, we won 2-1 in the WCQ 2022 under Skocic.

I really can't recall ever winning a match with CQ being down a goal. It's well known that if a CQ team concedes, the game is practically over. I can't even recall a draw being down one goal with CQ.

Whoops, I edited my question while you were answering. I meant to ask under CQ when was the time we came back from being down a goal or two. My bad.

                    Guys, guys guys, please ..

If we had lost, all you sending praise in this thread to GN would have been sending what is in your pants.

Team won, GN did a good job for once but he remains to be a coach at IPL level.

Unfortunately his record now speaks for itself. Only 1 loss ever with TM

Beiro in interview talk about how general came into the dressing room at halftime when iran was behind and told the boys “I’m proud of you guys and this is one of the best performances from you guys ever”. Beiro said this inspired them a lot
