So GN should stick to his gut"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. 2nd..if u feel majority of people are united with this team, where shoja and kanaani sit in their car singing Salam farmandeh, then u seem to be deluded..people, aside those 10-20% sandisi who are at the stadium and filling this Chatroom obviously, know how to take words like we take the cup home on 22nd bahman..
well my father already won this cup as one of the stars in 1972, so always wanted to see TM win the 4. star..there are more important things than football currently..
last..it’s enough u guys saw khomeyni in moon..no need for Masih or anyone else..
Goore pedare rejim o velayate faghih.
we’re sick of moralizing virtue signalers.

Our players should remember that they have the technical virtuosity and experience to pull this one off. But they they need to play hard while remaining level-headed and composed throughout the match. Victory has never seemed closer. Can't overemphasize this fact."This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. I read this forum, that’s why I was shocked so many here posting let’s get to the stadium..cause all I saw at the stands are paid basijis and ignorant or dumb people waving IR flag..as if nothing has happened since the uprise 22..no person with an iq higher than his body temperature would do it after all the murders..unless u are part of that
I really wanted to support this team but the interviews and social media posts of them are too disgusting..if the majority of people would identify themselves with this team there would have been huge street parties after such a historic victory..the opposite was the case if u look at social media..
btw my fathers name is Majeed Halvaei..also famous for his winning goal against Brazil in olympics 72..

Did you see or did your father tell you what happened in Iran when Iran qualified for the 1998 World Cup in the streets? People poured out in celebration without hijab as well.
What do you think will happen if Iran wins the Asian cup? You think people won't pour out? Right now Iranians are waiting for the next tipping point to protest again and winning the Asian cup certainly could be one....

Also to imply because people are in the stadium because they’re with the regime is one of the most disgusting insinuations I’ve seen on this forum in recent memory.
There are people in this Forum whose relatives and family were in prison in IR, and/or part of the establishment before the revolution. They love TM and go to the stadiums.
No need to be an ideological extremist about this.

In response to all the fans being basiji, I know one person who's been to all the games so far and I asked him, and he said there's between 200-450 people sent from the government and they stick out like a sore thumb! They are over represented because they are shown on TV most as they are all men, all loud, and all chant and bang the drum together. They are getting what they want, attention!you can't do anything about the length of your life, but you can do something about its width and depth

In case anyone is curious, this is the line up Qatar used against us back in October. Pretty much the same team except for their 2 foreign naturalized newer players, but pretty much the same team including the subs to what they used against Uzb.
