Am i the only one who thinks Qatar winning 2 back to back Asian Cup's is somewhat embarassing for Asia in general? Especially after the whole world saw their embarassing display on world stage.

all of that happens, we go up 1-0 to Qatar.....and we just choke it away? genuinely, wtf happened. I am in disbelief. I have been watching since 1996 and this is personally the worst loss I have experienced. sure jordan look good but cmon its still jordan, we can beat them any day like we did, in their home stadium 3-1. all we had to do was win today.

It’s absolutely disgusting the way we lose. Almost every major game we’ve lost is lost in the final seconds or by a few inches. If we would have lost 3-0 today it would have felt better than losing to an unlucky deflection or even Jahanbakhsh’s beautiful final attempt on goal. We deserved to win but we just weren’t able to pull it off today. If you would have told me at the beginning of the tournament we would just have to beat Qatar in the semifinals and then Jordan in the finals to become champions of Asia I would have been ecstatic. Everything was there for the taking and we just couldn’t capitalize. That’s what hurts more than the actual loss.Comment

Who else remembers the period from 2010-2014 where we were grateful we could tie Kuwait 1-1 to qualify for WC? We took a lot of these players for granted...I'm not excited to return back to that type of ball playing.

OK guys this game is over and done with. We have to learn from this experience. Learn as much as we can. We need to move on better it happened now and not at the World Cup where it really really matters….
even Morocco who went to fourth in the World Cup they lost in the African nation cup at the quarterfinals to South Africa, …think about it guys we need this Asian cup, it helped show a lot of weakness we have and for us and areas we need to improve and players we need to get rid of and new players need to come in.
We have to start from scratch let this game be over and done with let’s start again and build for the World Cup 2026.
