Thousands of Iranians at the game could see that we are shook for confidence and playing long ball and praying they make a mistake. This is on ghalenoui but also on these players. I’d much rather have ghalenoui stay then these players
    This team will stay attach
Which starter beside omid Ebrahimi and maybe shoja will officially retire?

Take this advise from a die hard fan that gave everything during my whole life and never got anything back.
Bro this actually broke my heart.

      Supporting TM just hurts

I have the opposite opinion. Where we messy at times? Yes. But we dominated the second half, and the biggest difference was that we didn't finish our "100" chances, and they finished theirs.

If we want to blame anyone, blame GN for not making better subs. Taremi, as much as I love him, was baaaaad this game. Poor decision making, such as trying selfishly keeping the ball to split two defenders on a counter in the first half, when he could have easily slipped a pass to the right. He also complained too much.

Why didn't we see Ghayedi? Why not Gholi? We were knocking on the door almost the entire second half, and when down by 1 late in the second half, we decide to stick with Taremi?

I agree but no coach would do that. Damn shame on taremi. Team played their heart out for him and he gave 0/10 today. He had a chance to score around minute 75 and he miss hit ball

Games where we score super early are a trap. When Sardar's goal went in, I was almost sure we'd be down 2-1 at half. Iran plays better when chasing a game. It's a mentality problem, we are and were the superior team, but we played down to our opponent's level. If we had Skocic, Klinnsman, or any other fraud coach, the outcome would have been the same. You play ugly, organized football you get this as your reward. You need someone to come into the game with an actual gameplan, and I'll be honest that CQ started games much better than Ghalenoei, but he also was not the best at adjustments if the plan was shaken. We will only find success when we have a pragmatic manager. That won't happen with the current situation of corruption, nobody of that caliber will come here. It's such a shame, wasting all the players and our time.

              48 years.

literally a lifetime to wait for a win for some of our members.

              the clock continues.

3rd goal was ridiculous. It was their only chance entire second half (until Shoja red card). It was a bounce u only see in fifa video game

still, I blame GN. Ghaedi and gholi would have feasted this game and I stand by it
                Don't forget Torabi.

GN with another poor starting line up combined with horrible tactics. Why would you start Omid, a slow 36 year old who can only benefit us a sub in certain scenarios. Haji Safi is more comfortable playing in front of line of defense on the left side as a LDM or LM. You just can't keep shifting players around in positions they're not comfortable with and moving Saman, and Ehsan around each game. And at a time when we needed creativity you bring on Moghanlu and Asadi as prayer subs when subs like Gholi or Torabi would've been a lot more effective in that scenario to create something from 70th min forward.

And then from minute 60 on, the tactic was to keep throwing crosses in and no other real game plan. Did we score against a much shorter Japan team with aerial balls or on the ground? So what made him think the best plan was to keep crossing with Qatar's CBs who were excellent in the air.

Ramin's flat crosses and being lax on not pushing up on the 3rd goal killed us so I would say he was our WORST player today. At least GN immediately subbed his ass out for that costly mistake. Overall a crappy loss, but as Keano said we are used to BS and losing under IR. It may not happen in my life time or until I am 80 years old, but one day we'll have some competent people in charge of the federation and we WILL take our country back. Mark my words. The younger generation is too woke to take any more shit and make the same mistakes as their predecessors.

Ghalenoi didnt invite 2-3 players who could have helped, so he had Asadi and Moghanlou ........ not using Gholizadeh and Ghaedi in this game was very strange.
Shoja got a red card, he was lucky he didnt get red before.
I can't believe people here are still trashing ARJ.
He was easily our best player. His defensive work was superb, his passing was good. You can say some of his crosses were off, but so what? Even Manchester City players aren't 100% accurate with crosses. It's a difficult technique, and one is depending on teammates to make the appropriate runs.

ARJ poured his heart out, today, and played very well. To say otherwise is just showing internal bias and/or simpleton thinking when it comes to football.

Torabi is an enigma. Feel like he always puts in a good shift but doesn’t get enough minutes . He was good vs USA when finally given a chance

Unlucky: that we lost 2 of our defenders. It was noticeable today that both Shoja and Reza were tired.

Lucky: got a goal after 4 minutes!

Ugly: that Galanohi didn't say that we should play Cq defensive and close the match and play with patience after the goal, which everyone in the team is very familiar with, and hit them on counterattacks.
true... we certainly shoulda Manage the game better after pulling ahead early on... but just as in the Uzbek match..!
the 1 trick pony GN stuck it out with his overly direct and rushed-out, & ignorantly hasty (supposedly hoojoomi..! 👀 ) tactic and paid the price for it on gutterie's swift counters ..! :/

if only Ramin tracked back with the rest of the defensive line.

if only Taremi would have let that ball drop for Azmoun.

if only ARJs last attempt was half an inch to the right.
Ramin is great going forward, and he CAN defend when in position, but yeah.. even I have noticed at this time: he goes up too much and gets so far in a corner, he does not have time to track back. This means a CM or OM has to drop in his spot, and we start to lose our shape.

Look, I thought Taremi was awful, today, and should have been subbed off for Ghayedi. But, on that cross, there is no way he could have known Azmoun was behind him.

ARJ's "almost goal" was the most painful. Regardless, ARJ played his heart out, and well.

I just don’t understand why Torabi consistently gets called up but never gets any playing time
