ok guys so we are out again in the Semis. Still i think our boys played well and fought alot until the last secound.

So let me ask you guys who have been around for a long time. What has been the worst loss, QF in 2015 against Iraq in penalties, SF in 2019 when we lost 3-0 and had a melt down or todays loss 3-2 agaist Qatar....

I think i feelt really bad after 2019 when we had such a shitty display against Japan and also it was CQs last game....

Iranians are not Italian and they are not Croatian after the age of 31 they’re done

any player who will be 30 in the next World Cup should not even be invited to the team everybody has to be 28 and under

Players who should retire from TM:
        - Hajsafi
        - Shoja
        - Ramin
        - Omid

taremi…idk maybe. 32 soon. Still good for WCQ but I’m just so disgusted with his performances recently that I never want to see him again. If he doesn’t start this game we win 100%. It was like playing a man down

Playing japan on 2 days rest then turn around play qatar THATS 3 MATCHES IN 7 DAYS.
our players were tired because tm finished 1st.
only reason jordan in the final is because they lost to bahrain finished 3rd and made their own destiny If not japan would taked them out....
Next time hopefully tm would take footballi way, and stop mixing life and football together.

          Tm could of gone
tajikstan, jordan playing s.k with fresher legs in semi. Easier and more rested way.

We got out analyzed up the wazoo. To lose to a weaker team that hasn’t beaten us since the Jurassic period means the Qatari coach completely read us and analyzed us. So sad. But Aziz did say. We play one good game one bad game since the start of the competition. Sadly. This was our bad game !

Taremi really let us down today… the team rallied for him in the Syria game and essentially played their hearts out in extra time for him, and this is how he repaid us?? Is his move that’s “essentially done” making him unfocused, it seems so…
I have a lot of thoughts, I want to write something properly but it’s 4am and my heart physically hurts 😩💔 it’s hard being a true TM fan.. getting up early, telling all your low key racist colleagues how we are not to be underestimated, watching all the replays again and again on YouTube, getting excited… then it all comes crashing down

The major error Ghalenoei did in this match was starting Ebrahimi on the midfield. Ebrahimi could keep up with the Japanese players pace, but he had no chance against the Qataris because they were fast, technical and also physically strong. This allowed Qatar to dominate the midfield in the first half and would eventually be the main reason why Iran conceded two goals in the first half. In the second half, with Ebrahimi subbed out, TM managed to controll most of the game but those two goals would come back and hurt us in the end.

Ghoddos had a very poor first half but he was probably our best player in the second half. Jahanbaksh and Ezzatollahi were among our better players.

The referee did a good job, he was more than fair to us. No one should blame him for our own shortcomings.

if only Ramin tracked back with the rest of the defensive line.

if only Taremi would have let that ball drop for Azmoun.

if only ARJs last attempt was half an inch to the right.

If Iran had a decent government/system.

Ok The dreaded Curse continues. Our players simply do not have mentality to be a champion. They have not had it since before the DAMN revolution.

How could they dominate Japan and then play like absolute crap against a much weaker opponent.

I am sick and tired of this hearth ache.over and over and over..

We had plenty of fresh legs on the bench. Torabi, Gholizadeh, Ghaedi, Ansarifard, PAG. Taremi was suspended and had plenty of rest but ironically, he was our worst player on the field. The reason we lost is because bezan ziresh barely worked against Japan, so we had to try the exact same thing against Qatar for almost 2 hours straight.

I don’t buy it for one minute. I believe some players in this team were told to lose this game because of the way the IRI Iran runs the stupid ass team and they did what they were supposed to do enough for us to lose. there’s no way in hell those players that didn’t show up today, played their full potential, They fucking knew beforehand that we were gonna lose this game.

the whole bringing up the whole referee issue that he is Arab was just distract people from the reality of what was going on behind the scenes

I don’t want to get political, but you know some of these players, are probably government sympathizers and they do what they are told..

Why put a 36 year old DM in a 4-2-3-1 position against a team that has fast players?
Why not bring in a technical player like Gholi when you see our players are stressing and cant keep the ball?
Why is Shoja getting playtime? He is not TM material.
Why not sub Taremi out when you see his head is not in the game?
Why do you still insist on crossing when it is clear it does not work?
With Omid it worked against Japan, so I get why he started. I dont get why he didnt sub in Ghaedi who was one of our best performers or Gholizadeh

In a dense tournament going easier more rest ,is key to success..jordan and Korea did it and 1 of them are in final...tm didn't do it going home.
                              Simple as that.

                                First half:

                                Omid and Ehsan were shocking

                                Half asleep all game:
