By the way, here are fan camera angles of the goal Ramin was ONSIDE for. For the conspiracy theorists who are saying VAR spent 10 minutes creating 3D graphics instead of the simple explanation being that Ramin is just giij. He's like a foot behind him where the dark grass meets light grass

The top thread here during group stages and quarterfinals were asking us to MATCH FIX AND THROW THE GAME against UAE to get more favorable drawings... Nice double standard some people have...
Japan game gave us hope and blinded us to the fact that this very team was just held to a near draw against HK and went to penalties against Syria. Is it that hard to believe that this team who has been struggling with defense, against minnows, finally ran out of luck?
This team has had structural problems for a WHOLE year. Those who have been watching would know why we lost so hard...writing has been on the wall. In fact I even made a very long post here about why Ramin's positioning will come back to bite us when it matters like 4-5 months ago.

I think so. UAE complained against Qatar fielding ineligible players but FIFA did not even look at it. I am sure they paid referees as well and perhaps even players.
here are articles about that:

The only tough team they faced was Iran in the Semis and I was really expecting the kind of refereeing we got in the Syria game...but personally I was not convinced the referee was very unfair.
We played poorly defensively and have to accept that.
Cheating can take many forms and not just paying a ref, so hard to discount it entirely.
We have to move on and accept that life is not fair.
We will always have Japan 2024's scalp and that is the de facto final of the Asian games for me! Someone complained that Iran celebrated their win against Japan as if they had won the Asian games finals. We did win the Asian games as far as I am concerned.

We needed at least one more CB, one versatile wing back, and a CDM back up who wasn’t 36… instesd we took all these wingers who we never played and two of the most useless ST backups ever
