Bad move.
He will be stuck in a shady contract, within a country that no Euro country wants to do business with.
The way Russia is running right now, it is probably easier to transfer out from Iran, than Russia itself!
Rubin Kazan had two departures outside of Russia last transfer window. One was an Iraqi player to Mes Rafsanjan and the other a Danish player to Second div Italy.

Inspiring stuff... 😒
And before that they did good work developing khvicha before he went to lokomotiv and then Napoli.
and now cska are doing great work with fazyullaev, Bayern are scouting him. Before fazyullaev, zakharyan was young star of Russian league. He earned move to real sociedad at age 20 and is currently a starter one of the best sides in Spain.
even our own mohebbi has clearly improved with half a season in RPL compared to before.
For a player his age RPL is fine. Rubin coach rakhimov speaks Persian and was previous coach of Milad in akhmat, great player himself in Austria, Spain. Milads best form and performances in TM actually came at this time, and he still got a solid move to western EU later, and really this is a player with 1/1000th of Kasra’s talent level.
we all want our talents to move to best development clubs on earth but the reality is they don’t get those opportunities. Much better they take ones like these at earliest age possible. It at least gives them a shot at development. Look what happened to likes of yasin salmani, ghayedi, etc.
sardar and arj went to eu early, they both showed the impact that has just at this last AC. They were among our few players that were able to mentally handle the pressure of the crunch games, and bounce back from subpar performances. Ofc eridivisie in current situation is a better bet than RPL but by the time kasra has settled in the leagues period being shunned by EU community will probably be coming to an end as well.
and even a developmental western EU league is no guarantee, as delfi and more recently allahyar are proving.

Can't base it off one transfer window. They aren't going to have big transfers every time.
Russia is a great place for our players to START in Europe.... Key is to move to a better league before the age of 26/27, which is the issue many of our players have had.

here is v3 article regarding cska offer but really either move would be good for him. He has a huge physical, technical ceiling.
We've had this discussion before. Russian league before the invasion of Ukraine is not the same now. Every transfer window less and less departures are taking place to better leagues. Even your example of Khvicha had to move to a Georgian team before transferring to Napoli.
The mere fact that Russian clubs are going from playing friendlies against decent E.U sides to playing against the likes of Teraktor and Sepahan should be an indication of the league's reach. That and the exodus of good quality coaches... makes the Russian league marginally better than PGPL.
Also regarding Mohebbi, there's no concrete evidence that he's improved by being in Rostov. Before the goal against Japan he was rightfully criticised for his TM performances.
I think the most problematic aspect of the Russian league is the corruption (not that western Europe is free of that, just look at Charleroi), but everything we know, and even hints from Iranian players who previously played there point to the league being one where a young player like Kasra can be easily taken advantage of or be stuck in a less than ideal situation.

It's not just one transfer window. There's been gradual decline every window since the start of the war.

Speaking about Charleroi, I am disappointed by Bayat. They have 0 Iranian atm (they have a Palestinian though) while they should have at least 2-3 Iranians in their squad every season.
Japanese own belgian, Portuguese teams don't do that much taarof and khejalati.

After Gholi and Beyranvand experience with Bayat brothers, I don't think any Iranians will go to teams owned by them for a while.
He had an interview about this.
The Bayat brother was involved in his transfer, and made his life very difficult when he didn't go along with his plan.
