Our boys want to play for TM, where that would be the problem and most of them who are in Iran do not want to leave Iran. They are brainwashed to the point that Esteghlal & Persepolis (as well as other clubs) are “Home” to them when they are not committed to pay salaries on time or possibly even ever. The mentality and egos that coaches and clubs have are just crazy. To be honest, I am glad that Motahari filed a complaint against Esteghlal and we may see them in Azadegan next year, especially they are falling behind their “privatization”.

The only thing that is not rigged is the AFC privatization rules.

Of course the AFC privatization rules are rigged.

One of the main complaints against Persepolis and esteghlal was that they have a common owner.
Who the heck do you think owns Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad and Al-Nasr?

The only truly professionally run clubs we have in Asia re the Japanese ones, then the Australian ones, and the South Korean ones to an extent.

The rest of the leagues are basically state subsidy programs.

Esteghlal and Persepolis do have a common owner - The government. The Saudi teams are owned by Sheiks or relatives of the Sheik who may or may not have ties to the Saudi Kingdom, but for our team it's pretty clear.

The Saudi clubs are owned by the Saudi PIF (Public Investment Fund).

Same issue as Iran. They can dress it up how they want, but they have the same issue.
Saudi is bankrolling FIFA and AFC for the next 10 years though so no one is going to say anything.

            Allegedly bankrolling.

Plus if this was true, how did they bow out of the "AFC" Asian Cup? If what you are saying is true, then why did Qatar win the "AFC" Asian Cup? Qatar must have then truly earned their victory and we can close this thread out officially by saying Qatar did not rig the Asian Cup, because the Saudis are paying FIFA and AFC.

Looks like their "bankrolling" is not paying off too well!

I am not saying bankrolling as in open bribery - I mean literally funding operations through provision of sponsorships.

Might be just a misconception. These Arab nations are just being smarter on what they would like to do politically and that is to use their money to make more money. It's not too much about power for them, but about how they can bring in more customers because they know one day that their oil will run out.

Iran on the other hand, doesn't care as it's not on their agenda to do anything, hence why bring in bigger and better players to the league. It just won't make sense for their political ambitions. They only care about their agenda on how they can keep control of power in their region, and in the country. They don't want foreign influence.

So in short Arabs want more money by spending money, but what IR Iran wants is just power, without spending a dime on their football.

Under IRI, we will never, never see a championship. 1) IRI does not care about investing 2) we do not have enough influence in AFC to make things go our way. If we do see a success is pure luck.
                  IRI = FAILED

                    Seedee jan,

All I'm saying is the Arab countries are spending money and it gives them a great deal of influence understandably.

These rules can easily be rigged. Its just semantics that excuse the Saudis.

The public investment fund is owned by the government but entrusted to different sheikhs for these clubs. Its the same.

This problem is rampant in football.

Macron, the Emir of Qatar are meeting Mbappe to secure him to stay at PSG. If PSG is owned only by the Qatar Sports Investment group why is the Emir of Qatar talking to Mbappe?

Similarly, when Man City is charged 115 times by the FA for FFP violations why did the UK have to consult with the government of UAE out of fear of reprisal and not just Abu Dhabi Sports group? That is also government interference which should relegate these teams.

                      It is all fixed.

I promise everyone here that the next AC on January 2027 in Saudi Arabia will have the same story as in Qatar.

We might even go to the final beating another Asian powerhouse (to pave the way for the SA to win it all) but will still lose to Saudi Arabia through some questionable calls. I have no doubts about this and ready to bet anyone.

This is how they operate @AFC so be smart and beat the system by cheering for your team but only bet your money on our Arab opponents. Don't put your money where your heart is.

Remember what I said in 2024 when this happens in 2027.

                        I hope I am wrong.
