Noorafkan isn’t team Melli material , but I feel like there is a quota from sephahan so I rather have noorfkhan than mahganlou or Asadi ……

he is a massive defensive liability cause he is clumsy and psychically weak ,

I don’t believe in GN until he actually plays some of these young players in a real game 90 minutes …

Great list overall but inviting Shoja after that performance vs Qatar is an absolute crime….he is also 34 freaking years old! If you’re gonna phase out Hajsafi who is still playing at an high level and not Shoja it shows GN’s head really is not working.

Minor nitpick but something that annoys me with this lineup is how many right footed CBs we have. Its one reason why our defense is so awkward when we get attacked from the left side and why Majid Hosseini can barely play for us at LCB when he plays RCB for club. Defense could have been made stronger if Aghasi was called up instead of Kanaani.

Other than that though I like it...avg age of TM with this lineup is now 25.5

Can't expect to drop all of the senior players going straight into the WCQs with no friendlies. So fair enough list, we know Turkmenistan is a tough team to break down so we can assume that it will be a challenge to get all 6 points. Therefore we can maybe only make 2-3 tweaks at this time , and if we are in a comfortable lead we can try some additional youngsters.

Bro, Shoja was an absolute beast in the AC and played injured! His performances in the AC for me will go down as one of the best defensive performances I have seen by ANY TM player since 2000.
