Although against Syria and UAE we were the better team for most of the games.
HKG was our worst game.

It was a poor game, sure, but no one should have expected much more versus a super scrappy Turkmenistan on one of the worst pitches in international football.
Made Azadi look like Wembley.
there was religious ceremony there today
They allow 80k insideπ π π π w/o problem.
The renovation is an excuse for soccer crowed control....

GN needs to be fired. I've seen enough. What an awful manager with absolutely zero game plan and it shows. The players are also super spoiled...
I don't even want to open a post match ratings thread... Not worth it for this shit.
GN, Ramin, Ezatolahi, Gholi, Noorafkan were all horrendous
Taremi, Milad, Shoja, Ghayedi, Ghoddos, Ghorbani were all mediocre/poor
Hosseini average
Only good players today were Mohebbi and Kanaani

Hosseini's exits, although some were maybe not needed, all resulted in clearances... He also had good positioning and footwork for the most part. An overall average performance.
Beiro on the other hand, has been shaky in club and his exits have cost us penalties such as against Syria.

So now, we are 100% qualified to the next round.
We do not need a nursing home team to play against Hong Kong. Let some new players get in.
Hazbavi or Fallah as CB.
Hardani or a returning Moharrami as RB.
Trial Sayyadmanesh or Saharkhizan.
The vets can stay on the bench and bring them in if needed.
For Uzbekistan game can be more conservative but 1-3 players should still be trialed in that game too.
