In that case I nominate Moharrami or Mohebi (2-3 years in the future for Mohebi).

Moharrami is loved by the whole team and he's a fierce guy.

Mohebi is a hard worker who has the type of personality that I wish other players in the team had. He always puts his 1000% in even if he lacks in the technical department sometimes.

Ezatollahi is like EX gf we can't get rid of, he has crispy clean passes but in recent years he's been so bad at everything else (both performance wise and mental wise). I think he's generally not a leader.

Ghoddos I would not mind, I believe that he can step up and be a leader if need be but his language skills might be a problem

A captain is more mature and a mediator while also hyping the rest of the team as a rallying point. They do neither of these.

Easy answer….Saman. No history of any hashieh, team first guy with a professional attitude/mindset, willing to do whatever to help TM win. He is the definition of a leader.

My thoughts exactly, Azmoun is not a leader, the guy has barely been able to play a full 90 his whole career. Taremi I would’ve said yes a 2 year ago, but he’s attitude seems to be getting more and more shit. Ezatolahi is not a good footballer, he is riding on his early potential and lack of competitors, has zero leadership capacity.

Ghoddos would be a solid bet. The guy is a beast, he can now play every position lol, and is a fighter on the pitch. Moharrami is a decent option for later if he continues to be a starting RB for us
