I still stand by what I said earlier, even if we had finished 2nd, we would not have gone far in the tournament. We just did not have the right mentality, preparation, and coaching.

If France beat Paraguay - which is not unrealistic, they easily have beaten Venezuela, they would face Argentina or Kazakhstan. A win here would be very unrealistic, but a win against Ukraine in the 3rd place play-off could be doable. But would in the end also show that the tournament format was shit, if France can become 2nd or 3rd

I checked again Brazilian statistics and there are only three teams that could beat them more than 1 time - Argentina beat them 8 times in 85 encounters, Spain 9 times in 33 encounters. Netherlands beat them 3 times in 15 encounters but I think those were the very early days of the game.

I also checked the tournament statistics, we are definitely 9th in the final tournament ranking, with Portugal and Spain following. I think this simply reflects well that in a tournament mode (especially this time with the shitty brackets) everything can happen and rankings reproduce illogical results.
As Venezuela for example will definitely be 8th.France can still become anything from 1st to 6th. We beat both.
Uzebkistan 19th, Tajikistan 20th, Afghanistan 16th, Thailand 12th.

Till now we still have 3rd most goals scored and 3rd best goal difference (with one game less than Ukraine/Brazil).

Cannot say yet finally, but based on the current rankings, our group was still the best performing group on average. Depends a bit on Argentina/Ukraine (Group C).
