Just for perspective, Georgia had similar odds of beating Portugal (9 to 1) as TM did against England in WC (10 to 1). What a historic win for them. Congratulations!

Not taking anything away from their exceptional run, but Portugal already qualified and rested few key players which wasn't their case vs us!
best of the tournament by far.
All aspects of his game are exceptional.
without him, Portugal would have gotten a few.
I think it was a good game plan by Georgia, but lots of things went right for them too.
also Turkey result hides how bad they are. 75 minutes with 11 versus 10 and they almost got eliminated at one point.
The guy is an animal!
Very on control of his game
Tophaee ro ye zarb mahar kard ke aksare goaler haye top donya do dafesh mikonan
He is young and will end up in top club soon
Only other player I can think of that actually played in major tournaments was Michael Umana, the Costa Rican defender for Persepolis.
He was good but tbh Giorgi is better package defender! Better speed and strong on air!
Honestly he should have been playing some top level football!
We all love what we see from him in Persepolis but 7 years in IPL for such a talent was waste of time!
Again as i said their new generation players under 25 max were scouted by few top league clubs, way more than players around Giorgi age!
