    REALITY IS
    his coaching style has expired.
This is worst than skocic situation but not as desperation mode since we have 2 years to wc.
He is more concerned with how he looks, than performing well and trying new players. I noticed his face was a lot more smooth and tighter too he has def had botox, lasers and who know what else.

Also, why not experiment with a few of the young players, even for a half, when we were already going to finish top 2 of group. He needs to go, and sooner rather than later. Is there any talk of replacing him at all?

Edin Terzic today announced he will leave BVB Dortmund. he is a young coach which can help us, as he also focus on young and dynamic football. We need more dynamic football and i think really, he should be contacted and considered as a replacement, as he is not that expensive compared to other famous coaches. He will bring new wind in our team, i am sure.

And on the 8.Day God created Ali Karimi, and he saw he was good!
If Defenders were allowed to use their hands to stop Karimi

Even if we had the money (which we don't), Why would a Champions league finalist come to an underfunded, severely mismanaged footballing program that can't arrange half decent friendlies?

We would be blessed to even get someone of Carlos Carvahal's stature to look at a proposal from us, let alone sign someone like Terzic.

I said this after the WC, our football is gonna be in a sad state of affairs for quite a few years before we can rebound (aging players, lack of infrastructure, declining foreign interest, good coaches). Its like the woke movement, things are gonna get so bad before everyone realizes we gotta make changes.

When Iran plays a closed game, lots of complaints that the coach is too afraid, too conservative, we don't like his style of play, get rid of CQ etc etc.

For the record, I definitely WAS NOT one of those people! TM under CQ executed an organized, effective defensive style of football. And anyone who referred to it as park-the-bus does not know much about football.

When Iran plays an offensive game, lots of complaints about conceding too many goals.

What TM is playing is not offensive football; it's chaotic, unorganized, and certainly ineffective!

              Unfortunately no.

General is master of manipulation, deception, brain washing and he has learned spending money and having thugs among fans is not enough, he is spending money and buying the writers and websites...he is iran soccer mafia boss. and taj can't mess with him , because general would destroy him on stands and now media specialy taj name is flying around for corruption...only way taj can get him is through political game, like new president pick his sport minister and that sport minister order taj to remove general and then he is gone since general power is not on that level......

Tm fans calling tm players bi girat bi girat after match their leaders on those sections are in general payroll. Instead of going after headcoach like usually the case they went after players....

Our GDP per capita is around the 80th in the world below Armenia , Botswana, and Albania.

Our people don't have access to the world credit system.

Youth Unemployment makes Spain look like a utopia.

                  And ton of other things.

If in this economy, they hand out a contract worth more than a million USD a year to a manger, they would need to be tried for treason.

i think both CQ and GN are part of the problem not trying to integrate new players into the squad . Honestly feels like we've had the same line up for something like 8 years . CQ didn't even take a full squad to the world cup- GN bringing on Ansarfraid against Hong Kong as an impact sub - what a waste

But we’ve seen this playbook before, and we all know sensible things will not occur
IFF is just going to carry-on with GN through the third round the qualification and so long our World Cup qualification Isn’t seriously threatened Along the way they will Stick with him until we are qualified then start to look for an expensive foreigner coach with maximum three-6 months To go till World Cup so they don’t have to pay him a lot of money..!
And they will do the same shit They’ve been doing for decades All over again
                        fucking rinse and repeat..!
I promise we will have some really dicey moments in WCQ. Our team hasn't been tested much against good teams outside of the Asian Cup, and particularly in difficult away environments. The one hard away environment has been Uzbekistan and against Qatar in Qatar, Qatar we failed.

I don't think CQs return in 2022 could have been any different. He had 2 months and 2 friendlies to direct the squad. We should have kept Skocic instead of bringing the poor guy back when he was away from our country for almost 5 years. He did the sensible thing which was call up players he was familiar with like Ramin and Cheshmi that had long been phased out by Skocic.

CQ is the master of cultivating players, his direct work gave us players like Ezatollahi/ARJ. He brought in diaspora. He even cultivated late bloomers like Haj Safi and Amiri and brought them to a level that they could compete against Portugal.

IMO the bane of Iranian sports, culture, society, and management is the lack of discipline; the inability for everyone to be pointed in the same direction, observe the rules, and put aside personal agenda. We see it in our football, in our society, and in anything that requires just a bit of team work. We see it in our traffic when everyone thinks it is ok for them to disregard the rules while going nuts when somebody else does it.

We saw it when a few players conspired against Skocic, knowing the alternative, whoever it may have been, would have only a couple of months. They all thought they knew better than anyone else, and sabotaged the coach.

To get the biggest bang for the buck, we do not need a good coach, but a harsh, disciplinarian babysitter. CQs success to a large part was because of his success in bringing some discipline to the team.

I can’t comprehend why anyone would want this guy to stay, other than being a whiny fat ass frowning on the sidelines what does he even do? He just frowns and deflects any criticism and blames the players. Legit jusr got lucky because for the first time ever, Bezan ziresh worked against Japan, that’s it. We need a professional coach to guide us during this transition period and to qualify us to the WC
